This is something near to my heart. If I put that much work into something, I want it to last.
Any yarn that I have tried has held up better when I have knit it tightly, but Opal really holds up the best. I can't believe how well some of them have stood the test of time and abuse!

I agree with Cathy, my mom is a nurse and loves her some handknit socks. Needless to say she wears them to death and machine washes (and dries) everything. Socks made from Opal have without a doubt held up the best. So far anyway...

I am having trouble downloading all but the most recent podcast. When I click on "Episode 26" it doesn't come up with a download thing like Episode 27 does. Help?
