I think it's John Stossel's book "Give Me A Break" that includes a graphic of a graph showing the temperature levels of the planet in the past (according to scientists). Where the temperature has been in recent history (well beyond the industrial age with all our evil, air-polluting vehicles and factories) is actually below the mean on the graph.

But you'd never hear that side of the story from the environmentalists...
