The POINT, of course, is that they legalized it. While they may not have actually crucified anyone yet, would anyone be surprised if they eventually did? After all, they have rounded up some members of Fatah, shot them in the legs and left them to bleed to death. I suppose by terrorist standards, that is compassion.
It's interesting that, with all the uproar over water-boarding, there was virtually no coverage of this. I guess it's not a human rights violation as long as the ones we expect be barbaric do barbaric things. That is the upside-down world we live in.
