Gravatar I still remember.

Gravatar They go not alone, though, into the Unknown. For there are those who own the hands that reach out from the darkness. And you and yours at SAG. The Unknown is more easily traversed in company of Angels.

Gravatar Thank you{{{{{{{{{MaryAnn}}}}}}}}}}} for all that YOU do..

Gravatar let's not forget:

a soldier is wheeled on the gurney through the hallway, ankle wrapped and elevated. a soldier's angel has been standing and waiting for his arrival. she has been looking for a specific soldier with that specific injury, and as he was inprocessed, she noticed him and recognized him from his mother's description. now as he is wheeled down the hallway, as he passes her, she reaches out. "hey, is your name jones?" the young guy is startled - it takes him a minute. "yeah.... why?"

"your mom wanted me to check up on you. i'll drop in later."

he keeps going down the hallway. one of the nurses pushing him grins and tells him, "see? it's not so bad."

maybe the unknown isn't so awful when there's a friendly face waiting for you.

Gravatar Jess, remember when you went to see that guy and he asked if you were part of the TV crew who had apparently just been there?

You were like, "Whaaa... ? No, your Mom sent me."

And he said, "Oh, in that case c'mon in."

And then the TV people suddenly CAME BACK and wanted you to "recreate" meeting him?

Sheesh. Poor guy.

Gravatar You guys are so awesome. And it's not just your hands that are there--you are our hands... the hands of everyone who wants to be there and is working somewhere to help people like them. I'm so glad you're there!

Gravatar Thank you, again, MaryAnn, for taking extra special care,of Soldier, Jeff T.
Truely, and forever, an amazing story.
We love you!
