Think IMPEACHMENT......we cannot let go of this necessity. Once again Bush is deliberately lying in a state of the union address; lying to Congress and the American people as a matter of policy is fraud and Bush commits a felony each time he makes a fraudulent statement. The Republican administration is a clear and present danger to this nation and impeachment is the legal and correct forum in which to investigate and judge the many numerous illegalities of the Bush/Cheney administration. The Constitution demands it, the majority of the American people demand it and justice demands it. No Americans owe any allegiance to individuals who have for foresworn their oaths of office, deliberately committed numerous felonies, lie continually and murder our military personnel in an unnecessary and illegal war fought to enhance the personal wealth of members of the administration. Any elected or appointed official that forswears their oath of office to uphold, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution or engages in obstruction of justice by attempting to enforce unconstitutional provisions is committing treason against the Constitution and the people of the United States.

I would certainly appreciate some actual source citing. Not once was there an actual link to original sources, or video footage to accompany "quotes." I hate the guy, with a passion, but two things...
1. Yes he lied, but not under oath. I don't believe that would make him impeachable. With that logic, Reagan was making up all sorts of stuff in the last years (and onset of senility) but no one was clamoring for impeachment.
2. While I don't doubt a bunch of CIA and FBI agencies claimed he was lying, there aren't any names associated with the quotes. I mean, I could say "'Bush eats monkey livers for breakfast', one Secret Service agent commented" and that's as valid as any other quote.
If someone would step forward, it would be nice. At some point, someone 'in the know' has to come forward and be a whistle blower, right?

I don't know why you people keep talking about impeachment. A slap on the wrist would be more of a punishment. I'm not sure why it's shocking. I tried to watch the entire speech, but could only watch about the last 15 minutes. Every single one of our 'Representatives' lies, gives half-truths, or distorts any time they are in the 'spotlight'. The President just gets unlimited Press 48 hours prior to these state of the 'dream' addresses. The day a President stands up and says 'the State of our Union is fraudulent, backed by nothing, and controlled ultimately by no one in my administration' will be the first time in History a President has been completely honest with the people he 'represents'.
However, I don't think the Address is any different than the non-stop 6-hour bashing of everything middle-class on Fox News every single night (and yes I know there are many more than just Fox).
