We are living in strange times. One exceptionally warm winter is enough – irrespective of the fact that in the course of the 20th century the global temperature increased only by 0.6 per cent – for the environmentalists and their followers to suggest radical measures to do something about the weather, and to do it right now. In the past year, Al Gore’s so-called “documentary” film was shown in cinemas worldwide, Britain’s – more or less Tony Blair’s – Stern report was published, the fourth report of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was put together and the Group of Eight summit announced ambitions to do something about the weather. Rational and freedom-loving people have to respond. The dictates of political correctness are strict and only one permitted truth, not for the first time in human history, is imposed on us. Everything else is denounced.
The author Michael Crichton stated it clearly: “the greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda”. I feel the same way, because global warming hysteria has become a prime example of the truth versus propaganda problem. It requires courage to oppose the “established” truth, although a lot of people – including top-class scientists – see the issue of climate change entirely differently. They protest against the arrogance of those who advocate the global warming hypothesis and relate it to human activities. As someone who lived under communism for most of his life, I feel obliged to say that I see the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity now in ambitious environmentalism, not in communism. This ideology wants to replace the free and spontaneous evolution of mankind by a sort of central (now global) planning.
The environmentalists ask for immediate political action because they do not believe in the long-term positive impact of economic growth and ignore both the technological progress that future generations will undoubtedly enjoy, and the proven fact that the higher the wealth of society, the higher is the quality of the environment. They are Malthusian pessimists.The scientists should help us and take into consideration the political effects of their scientific opinions. They have an obligation to declare their political and value assumptions and how much they have affected their selection and interpretation of scientific evidence.
Does it make any sense to speak about warming of the Earth when we see it in the context of the evolution of our planet over hundreds of millions of years? Every child is taught at school about temperature variations, about the ice ages, about the much warmer climate in the Middle Ages. All of us have noticed that even during our life-time temperature changes occur (in both directions). Due to advances in technology, increases in disposable wealth, the rationality of institutions and the ability of countries to organise themselves, the adaptability of human society has been radically increased.
It will continue to increase and will solve any potential consequences of mild climate changes. I agree with Professor Richard Lindzen from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who said: “future generations will wonder in bemused amazement that the early 21st century’s developed world went into hysterical panic over a globally averaged temperature increase of a few tenths of a degree, and, on the basis of gross exaggerations of highly uncertain computer projections combined into implausible chains of inference, proceeded to contemplate a roll-back of the industrial age”. The issue of global warming is more about social than natural sciences and more about man and his freedom than about tenths of a degree Celsius changes in average global temperature.
As a witness to today’s worldwide debate on climate change, I suggest the following:
■Small climate changes do not demand far-reaching restrictive measures
■Any suppression of freedom and democracy should be avoided
■Instead of organising people from above, let us allow everyone to live as he wants
■Let us resist the politicisation of science and oppose the term “scientific consensus”, which is always achieved only by a loud minority, never by a silent majority
■Instead of speaking about “the environment”, let us be attentive to it in our personal behaviour
■Let us be humble but confident in the spontaneous evolution of human society. Let us trust its rationality and not try to slow it down or divert it in any direction
■Let us not scare ourselves with catastrophic forecasts, or use them to defend and promote irrational interventions in human lives.

Ask anyone in the intelligence community who was the most damaging spy in US history and the answer comes quickly: Robert Hanssen, a senior FBI agent who spied for the Soviet Union – and, after the Cold War, for the Russians – on and off for a period of 15 years. While much of the information Hanssen provided to the Russians remains classified, what has been released to the public illustrates the real life meaning of treason.
At various times throughout his double-agent career at the FBI, Hanssen served as the head of the Soviet Analytical Squad, the chief of the National Security Threat List Unit, part of the Bureau’s computer espionage squad, and even part of the State Department’s Office of Foreign Missions. By all accounts he was an outstanding computer technician, even a hacker according to some, and a brilliant analyst. But he was also as enigmatic a person as counter-intelligence has ever encountered.
Hanssen was a devout Catholic, a member of the controversial and influential conservative religious group known as Opus Dei; he was fiercely anti-Communist, a good father, a good husband, and mostly an underachiever, seemingly by choice. At the same time, Hanssen was also selling the most sensitive information from across several US intelligence agencies to the Russians, making pornographic films of his unsuspecting wife and later showing them to his friends, and masturbating at work to images of screen goddesses such as Catherine Zeta-Jones. For the information he provided to the Russians, he got comparatively little compensation, roughly $1.4 million in cash and diamonds.

“During the next six years – the last stages of the Cold War – Hanssen delivered thousands of pages of highly classified documents and dozens of computer disks to the KGB detailing U.S. strategies in the event of nuclear war, major developments in military weapons technologies, identities of active and historical U.S. assets in the Soviet intelligence services, the locations of KGB defectors in the United States, analytical products from across the Intelligence Community, comprehensive budget and policy documents, and many other aspects of the Soviet counterintelligence program.” (A Review of the FBI's Performance in Deterring, Detecting, and Investigating the Espionage Activities of Robert Philip Hanssen)
Although he managed to avoid detection for over 20 years, by 2000 an FBI task force was well in place and focusing exclusively on Hanssen. They only needed to catch him in the act of making what is called a dead drop for the Soviets.
Enter Eric O’Neill, a 27 year old FBI investigator on the Bureau’s Special Surveillance Group, specializing in surveillance of terrorism suspects. O’Neill was assigned to be Hanssen’s assistant in a newly formed FBI computer squad. It was largely O’Neill’s attention to detail and confidence that provided the smoking gun needed to bring Hanssen in and led to his arrest on February 18, 2001.

Even though O'Neill never had experience going face-to-face with a "target," he was trained as a "ghost," able to follow someone closely for weeks, "but you would never know I was there."
Along with exposing the identities of foreign agents the US had "turned," According to O'Neill, Hanssen "gave the Russians our nuclear information, information about agents and assets working penetration, he even gave them the source code to the FBI’s automated case system program."
Although he doesn't think there is any "correlation" between the Hanssen and Plame cases, O'Neill tells RAW STORY "a journalist that knowingly or negligently releases/reveals classified information should face federal prosecution."
O'Neill also believes "there are still moles in government agencies."
"I’d like to think that Hanssen was the last FBI mole, but that’s probably wishful thinking," O'Neill said. "I do think that the Hanssen case made the FBI more sound – better able to screen for spies, and better able to catch them once they activate."
O'Neill added, "I think there will always be spies, for the same reason there will always be crime. Some people are so morally broken they see no problem with taking the easy road at the cost of others."

My point, there are many who can not and will not face the reality of our actions as a nation. They are not capable of accepting the truth. These people would turn against those of us who attempt to remove them from their bubble. The term used long ago was the silent majority. This term itself was used laughingly by our Illustrious leaders. Today they use the definition the Sheep.
Simply put, after 911 the regime used their technique, we need them desperatly, we must seek revenge for our nation, Fear on top of Fear.
And so, the regime took the ball and ran with it, off to Iraq chasing WMD's that did not exist.
650,000 dead civilians later, a country invaded, and the regime are ready to invade Iraq. Yet the bubble people resist the reality.
Historicaly, whatever we have done as a nation is accepted as righteous and democratic by the majority. The military Upper Echelon, not the Enlisted men, the military big dogs so to say, are moral cowards, and traitors to their sacred oath. It appears their blind ego and greed has replaced their soul. In unison our federal agencys, they have betrayed this nation, it appears when their masters ring the bell they run to them and obey despite the fact they know the reality.
Those who beleive the wars we have fought, the killing and destruction we have wrought in the name of America and Democracy has been Rightous, Please,,,tell this to the mothers and fathers of the dead children and infants we have slaughtered with our invasions & bombing raids.
Their are many good people in this land of ours, though if they do nothing, if they choose the bubble, if they remain silent the Elite criminal element, using ther Government positions will most certainly destroy what this nation might have been and once was.
What honor in killing civilians,woman and children what rightouness, what democracy. Will our history books include the fact we Invaded a Soveriegn nation, after Cheney told the world without a doubt Saddam possesed WMD's that could destroy us. Hey everyone in this forum, I respect you all for being interested and involved; however, I am t my wit's end over this shit. I am really at a point of utter desperate. What do we do now? I need a solution focus. If the only solution is cutting off heads and shitting down throats, I am not sure I want it. I do not want to sit on my fucking hands anymore and moan either. Homosexuality occurs at a rate of about 10% of the population in most animals....it is natural just as is heterosexuality. There are brain based differences in most homosexuals, which make the brain appear more like the other gender than would be expected by chance. I personally think there is a continuum of sexual attraction, but that is just my belief. I want nobody to tell me who to have sex with and as long as all paties involved are consenting adults I do not care who anyone else is having sex with. If you enjoy oral sex, as most men do, then the argument of reproduction is limited as well. Why do you fear someone elses sexuality?
So, we all know, and we are all learning. But are we teaching. Nothing is a coincidence. The global warming debate is really heating up now, just as they honeybees (pollenaters) are dying. Well, the hummingbirds (also pollenaters) are dying too. What is the effect? Slowly, less and less pollenation will occur, and vegetation will suffer. But it will be blamed on global warming, not the systematic poisoning of selected life forms by the governement(s). The same poisons that are manufactured by major pharmeceutical companies. And guess what. Quebec is the first of more to come - taxes to help combat global warming (which is negligible at best). Do you honestly think they will use this money for global warming? Ha! We are not even legally required to PAY taxes! You and I can't go "door to door" canvassing for something that doesn't exist, and then use the money for something else, and not suffer the consequences. Yet we continue to "vote" in the people that do, and allow them to hold us accountable, while we give them free reighn by not saying/ doing anything. WE PAY FOR THESE GROUPS TO POISON LIFE!! And we know. We are not innocent.
We know that vaccinations are poison, THERE IS EXTENSIVE DOCUMENTED PROOF!! And while we may not vaccinate our own children, do we say anything to the parents of others. Or are we afraid? Dear editor, The “comprehensive immigration reform plan,” worked out secretly by the staff of the White House and Senate, was a fraud meant to deceive the American people.
It is an elaborate Ponzi scheme of proposals — none of which would secure the border or deal effectively with 15 million to 20 million illegal aliens who are already inside the country. It actually reduces the border fence from 800 miles to 200 miles in length. America doesn’t need an immigration reform bill — America needs immigration enforcement.
Instead, this Bush-Kennedy bill would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants and eventually make them eligible for welfare, Social Security, Medicare and other government benefits. Senior research fellow Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation gave a preliminary estimate of the per-person cost to taxpayers of giving amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants — a whopping $400,000 per person over the average life span and age of entry for the illegal immigrant. Rector called the bill “a blank check to illegal immigrants written at taxpayer expense.” Again, Heritage did something the Senate refused to do: Think critically.
The reason this bill does not address enforcement of our current immigration law is given in section 413. It states, “It is the sense of Congress that the United States and Mexico should accelerate the implementation of the Partnership for Prosperity to help generate economic growth and improve the standard of living in Mexico.” This Security and Prosperity Partnership program, launched in 2005 by President Bush, Mexico’s President Fox and Canada’s Prime Minister Martin, issued 300 initiatives, none of which was ever approved or even seen by Congress. The purpose of which is to eliminate our borders and establish a North American Union under international law. This hidden agenda within the bill gives credentials to this unconstitutional SPP and would destroy our national independence.
America has borders and laws for a reason. If the willful disregard of both by iIIegals is to be rewarded at taxpayer expense while legal Americans are punished (often by imprisonment) for the least infraction of drug dealing or criminal trespass — then America indeed has gone to hell.
America needs you to call your senators and express your outrage over this amnesty bill, both in principle and in practical costs to the American people. Sen. Ok, for one I am extremly angry. If anyone doubts my bias, know that I have a homosexual family member. How can a gay person tell me off, or make it law for me not to say what I feel, to say these people are gay, unnatural etc, at the expense of my freedom of speech? They cannot make it a hate crime for me to say things, at the expense of my freedom. If they make these laws, all that happens is that they get their freedom at the expense of mine.
Therefore no law will ever stop me from expressing my absolute disgust for homosexuals and their lifestyle, their so call "morals" and their total disrespect for other people. He destroyed an entire city of Sodom and Gommorah. Homosexuality still bears that scar today in the word "Sodomy". Then we have hurricane Katrina and New Orleans...no I think not a coincidence.

Every nation has a set of myths by which its people live and die; the USA is no exception. We just finished Memorial Day and soon we'll be approaching the tortured-celebrations of July 4th. Both these national spotlights involve public mythologies that have guided this nation for decades; yet the events that these holidays are meant to commemorate are no longer even remotely questioned. War is cheap for most Americans, because the lesser people among us fight our wars not us!
We are approaching the seventh year of national denial and treachery. US foreign policy is in shambles, as is the enforcement of national and international laws that we supposedly abide by. At home we have become the mirror opposite of who and what we say we are: just look at the survivors of New Orleans, at the homeless, at the unemployed and at the sick as well as the disillusioned that roam this land like the living dead that they are fast becoming.
The government has used the spineless public to turn each agency of this government into its own mirror opposite. EPA is in charge of destroying the environment-not saving it. FDA spreads disease and contamination through the food and water supply, instead of protecting it - while it's supposed task of monitoring the world of legal drugs has been sold to those same companies that they were created to monitor and oversee. It's the same throughout the government in every federal agency beginning with the so-called Department of Justice that writes laws to licensee torture while justifying the suppression of Habeas Corpus: making a total farce out of anything remotely resembling Justice. However since the Supreme Court violated its duty to protect and defend the Constitution when they appointed George W. Bush-it could be said that 'Justice' was just following the example of nation's Supreme Court. Congress eagerly also joined in the bloodless coup when they illegally gave away their constitutional powers of legislative oversight and financial control over the executive-to that same executive they were charged with guarding the public against.
If we dissolved congress, because they no longer represent the public, and the Supreme Court because they violated the Constitution that they are charged with protecting-we could officially declare ourselves to be the dictatorship that we have become. At least then we could eliminate all the confusion among the legalities and the actual powers themselves that have become so distorted under a congress that no longer functions and a court system that supports our enemies.
The truth is we are no longer a Republic. The United States of America has been taken over by the corporations and by their insatiable greed for profits. The American public opted out of that discussion and has begun their own private descent into the horrors of wage-slavery that will end when the sharks run out of companies to buy or other nations to suppress: If you doubt this, just look at the maps for all those places we have selected for 'Regime Change.' It's a long list and every one of those targeted nations has major deposits of oil. In Iraq alone there is $21 Trillion worth of oil under their sand-and we've promised the oil companies that we're not leaving without it. When our political puppets made that promise, most likely in those secret meetings that Cheney held in his offices back in January of 2001 while creating America's energy polices: From that day, this nation has become an Outlaw Regime, and in the interim we have finally become the leading Rogue-State in the world today.
This all happened because too few questioned those myths by which we have lived. Our national history is a lie: because the truth and all its attendant crimes have been suppressed. We did not bring Democracy & Freedom to the more than 50 nations that we overthrew: we brought them tyranny, corruption, chaos and murder-but we brought them these "gifts" in the guise of Freedom & Democracy. So many nations contain the horror-stories of invasions by the United States, and the dark memories that we left them with, long after our appetites for their natural resources were used up or forcibly removed.
We have the world's largest nuclear arsenal, the same with Weapons-of-Mass-Destruction, and we now have one of the most unbalanced leaders that the world has ever seen. We and Israel, our barbaric and principal partner in these crimes, have become the major threat to world peace and stability. Yet it is we who continue to call for 'Regime-Change' in country after country: We who continue to threaten and invade other nations. It is we who continue to defy the United Nations and the global community of nations. We do this in the name of promoting 'universal peace and democracy,' and the only ones who believe that lie are those who spread it.
The myth is and was that we are 'fighting to protect America and Americans around the world.' The fact is we are using mercenary forces in conjunction with the US military and taxpayer dollars to suppress liberty and freedom in the name of corporate theft and greed the world over.
If the USA still had a draft we could not have done these crimes because the public would naturally have wanted to know the exact reasons for putting their loved ones in harm's way. But since ending the draft was necessary to being able to stop the Vietnam War-a war that threatened to destroy the US military from within-we no longer have that safeguard to protect the world from our national arrogance and greed.
All of this fit nicely within that plan for the inside job that was the crime of 911. That was a major crime that we allowed this government to immediately brand, within 33 minutes after the explosions, as an attack by a hostile power without even considering any other possibility: Yet even as the evidence was being assembled and hauled away to finish off the cover-up, the United States was launching our first attacks on Afghanistan, and the rest is 'history.'
In all that time amid all the blood that we have spilled including about 3500 of our own uniformed troops, not to mention the draining of the treasury, or the looting of the entire federal system of checks & balances along with the Bill of Rights: The Decider continued to promise us that he has "changed course," yet he has continued to "Stay-the-Course" right up to this moment.
If we had representatives inside the government we could have stopped this, but our "protectors" are the same "lawmakers" that stood by while the Decider and his Outlaws stripped the public of our basic protections from our own government: which was the whole point behind the US Constitution in the first place.
That's where we've been going during these New Dark Ages of the Old World Order under 'The Decider.' What is fast approaching is a widening and possibly irreversible 'next step.' This was announced yesterday by Senator Joseph Lieberman, a self-declared Independent who in reality speaks for Dick Cheney in this case. Lieberman said that 'we must threaten Iran with air strikes and military reprisals for training Iraqi's and for supplying weapons that are killing Americans in Iraq.' Apparently the Senator is unaware that: "IRAN has threatened to launch a missile blitz against the Gulf states and plunge the entire Middle East into war if America attacks its nuclear facilities.

Lawmakers are questioning whether a proposed FBI anti-terrorist program is worth the price, both in taxpayer dollars and the possible loss of Americans' privacy. The National Security Analysis Center (NSAC) would bring together nearly 1.5 billion records created or collected by the FBI and other government agencies, a figure the FBI expects to quadruple in coming years, according to an unclassified FBI budget document obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com. Those numbers alone raised concerns from two congressmen, Reps. Brad Miller, D-Calif., and James Sensenbrenner, Jr., R-Wisc., the chair and ranking member of the oversight panel of the House Science and Technology Committee. The FBI has a track record of improperly -- even illegally -- gathering personal information on Americans, most recently through the widespread abuse of so-called National Security Letters, the two men noted in a letter to Congress' investigative body, the Government Accountability Office. Miller and Sensenbrenner asked GAO to determine whether the NSAC will include records on U.S. citizens, and whether there are protections in place to make sure all the data in the program was legally collected Of further concern to the two congressmen are the FBI's stated hopes to "pro-actively" mine the data to find terrorists using "predictive" analysis,according to its budget request, an unproven method according to experts and even the U.S. intelligence chief's office.
In theory, predictive analysis involves mapping a known pattern of terrorist behavior -- for instance, the sequence and timing of such mundane activities as bank transactions and travel purchases -- against a massive collection of such records like the NSAC databases. If an individual's actions match the pattern, they can be considered a suspect, even if they have no known ties to any suspected terrorists or known terrorist groups.
Such a method would help identify "sleeper cells," the FBI claims in its request -- secret groups of terrorists living innocuously within the United States, waiting for a signal from a terrorist group leader to assemble and strike.
But to date the approach has not proven workable. So far, terrorism researchers "cannot readily distinguish the absolute scale of normal behaviors" for terrorists or ordinary Americans, conceded a 2006 document from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and obtained by National Journal magazine. In other words, no one can figure out how terrorists act differently from normal Americans.
"We had no idea how on God's earth you would characterize and capture normal behavior," a former researcher for the ill-fated Total Information Awareness (TIA) program told the magazine last October. TIA, the government's first attempt at anti-terrorism data mining on a massive scale, had its funding stripped by Congress over widespread concerns it would violate privacy laws. The National Security Agency -- arguably a more tech-savvy outfit than the FBI, whose computer woes are legendary -- continues to pour millions into data mining research. The FBI has requested $12 million for its NSAC project. That amount would pay for 90,000 square feet of space and an additional 53 employees, according to its budget request. Whether Congress will approve the funds has yet to be determined. The bureau did not respond to a request for comment.

Too many of us have given up on the great dreams, and instead chose by default to embrace only "math science & money." There is no music, no art, critical-thinking is no longer taught or encouraged anywhere. The language along with individual personal courage and honor, have been butchered: Our youth are taught to follow orders, schooled in 'how to fit in,' and are encouraged to become a number instead of a person. The results of this sad state are everywhere around us: Look at our prisons, look at our non-existent medical care, at the state of the compact that gives our silent partners (the State) permission to steal what we must work for, just to live each and every day. Black & White and prison gray is what we've earned, and if we do not begin that struggle soon then that fate is all that most of us will ever come to know. FRED THOMPSON IS adding more big-name policy talent as his testing-the-waters committee continues to grow into a real presidential campaign. Among the new additions: Mark Esper, national security adviser to former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist; Joel Shin, a top policy staffer on Bush-Cheney 2000; and Elizabeth Cheney, a former top official in the State Department's Near East and South Asia department.
Esper, who worked for Thompson when he was a Senator in the 1990s, currently serves as executive vice president of the Aerospace Industries of America and is a member of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. Thompson previously served on the commission. Before joining AIA, Esper was Bill Frist's director of National Security Affairs. According to a biography on the U.S.-China commission website, Esper's "portfolio in that position included all defense, foreign policy, and intelligence matters for the United States Senate, where he also worked on trade and homeland security issues." He worked on executive-legislative national security matters--an important job given the Bush Administration's posture on a robust executive branch. Esper's current AIA obligations have limited his participation to that of an informal adviser.
Joel Shin was a top policy staffer on George W. Bush's presidential campaign in 2000. He coordinated the activities of senior outside policy advisers advising then-Governor Bush and worked on the Bush transition. Although many of his colleagues took jobs in the Bush administration, Shin did not. A former Rhodes Scholar, Shin is currently an associate with The
Scowcroft Group in Washington, DC. Shin declined to
comment on his role, directing all
questions to Thompson's communications staff.
Liz Cheney, the older of Vice President Dick Cheney's two daughters, served most recently as principal deputy assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern Affairs and coordinator for Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiatives. That title--no doubt one of the longest in the federal government--means that Cheney was on the leading edge of President Bush's effort to bring democratic and market-based reform to the region. A longtime democracy advocate, Cheney was a strong proponent of women's rights in the region. Her previous experience includes time at the World Bank, two prior stints at the State Department, and service as a US AID officer in Poland and Hungary.
Esper, Shin, and Cheney are well known and well respected in the Washington foreign policy community and generally regarded as hawkish in their views on national security. They will continue to give Thompson's foreign policy advice as the effort becomes a formal campaign. The informal group began meeting late last month and current plans are for weekly policy sessions. Like most campaign advisory groups, the foreign policy team will hash out current foreign policy issues and make recommendations to the candidate (or, in this case, the non-candidate). Its members will also seek to anticipate the kinds of foreign policy and national security crises that might require answers from Thompson.
Even as he spends much of his time putting together the infrastructure of his campaign, Thompson has been focused on developing the policy proposals that will form the backbone of his presidential run. He spent several hours yesterday at the Hoover Institution, affiliated with Stanford University, meeting with scholars from the conservative think tank.

You will save time by looking at the homepage of these more and more obvious COINTELPRO agents. They have 20 different nicks but use the same homepage (FBI procedural thing I guess).
