According to New York Times reporters James Glanz and Eric Lipton, when Edward O’Sullivan, head of the OSP, looks at WTC security, he finds “one vulnerability after another. Explosive charges could be placed at key locations in the power system. Chemical or biological agents could be dropped into the coolant system. The Hudson River water intake could be blown up. Someone might even try to infiltrate the large and vulnerable subterranean realms of the World Trade Center site.” In particular, “There was no control at all over access to the underground, two-thousand-car parking garage.” However, O’Sullivan consults “one of the trade center’s original structural engineers, Les Robertson, on whether the towers would collapse because of a bomb or a collision with a slow-moving airplane.” He is told there is “little likelihood of a collapse no matter how the building was attacked.” [Glanz and Lipton, 2004, pp. 227; New York County Supreme Court, 1/20/2004] The OSP will issue its report called “Counter-Terrorism Perspectives: The World Trade Center” late in 1985 (see November 1985).

Well, you're certainly right about that. I would like to also comment briefly regarding the two towers --THEY FELL ENTIRELY WAY TOO FAST.
I'm relying on other's calculations (since I'm no physist or expert on falling objects) but what I do see in the videos with my own two eyes says to me -- WAAAAY TOOOOO FAST for any pancake collapse to be happening there.
Not going to even get into discussing all the super-strong Nippon STEEL that the towers were constructed of -- other than to say -- they were super strong STEEL and NOT wooden sticks.
I believe the 9/11 Commission got it right on one thing (about the only thing, actually I can say that about) when they reported that one tower came down in 10 seconds. TEN SECONDS -- for all that steel when physics (according to the experts, mind you) says that's impossible without some assistance happening it along -- like maybe explosives knocking out all those super strong support structures as the mass fell through the air; and not so much a strike of one floor on top another, as in pancake collapse. Nothing there for those floors to strike -- Near free fall speed as if that steel was just dropped over the side and fell through open, unobstructed air.

Most of the fuel was dispersed into the air (tremendous in size red fireball -- happening outside the buildings -- in the open air) as is seen in the many WTC videos. Besides all that quoting you've done regarding degrees // doesn't mean too awsfully much in the scheme of things BECAUSE the kerosene couldn't have reached temperatures hot enough to melt steel (and that's what we see as EVIDENCE in the molten pools of metal -- and select beams -- that lasted for MONTHS at the base of the exploded towers.
Remember hearing about that? So using that nice little degree info you so kindly provided (again trying to divert, confuse, redirect, PsyOps) -- what was it then that caused all that molten metal?????

All that weight distribution, as IF that is supposed to mean something here. 42-thousand pounds is a hell of a lot of weight, friend. Get serious (to use one of your own words -- DIPSTICK).
Those much heavier B757/767's -- those 767's didn't cause those towers to fall down. And that's basically what you're trying to indicate here. Twist, divert, PsyOps. Those towers stood tall until such time as they were brought down by CD's. The proof is right there on those videos you want to try and twist, divert into something else. One tower -- nearly one hour; the other -- nearly two hours. How in the hell do you interpret that as weight having any significance.
Someone much smarter than YOU dipshit (one of the people actually involved in designing the WTC already tells us from the grave that those towers were designed to withstand multiple airplane collisions -- B707's (the largest that were in existence at the time -- and their damn dimensions aren't that much different than one of those B767's. Hopes for a global trade deal this year were sent into a tailspin Thursday after crunch talks between four key players in the World Trade Organization collapsed.
The negotiations between the United States, the European Union, Brazil and India in Potsdam, eastern Germany ruptured on the same faultlines that have kept a multilateral accord elusive for nearly six years: farm subsidies and open markets.
In Washington US President George W. Bush accused Brazil and India of fighting for their own interests at the expense of poorer countries.
"The president is disappointed that certain countries are blocking an opportunity to expand trade," White House spokesman Tony Fratto said.
"Large economies like Brazil and India should not stand in the way of progress for smaller, poor developing nations, but that appears to be what happened in Germany this week."
Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, flanked by Indian Commerce Minister Kamal Nath, explained their walk-out in Potsdam: "It was useless to continue the discussion given what was on the table."
Amorim said differences over Western state backing for farmers -- a constant bone of contention in the current Doha round of trade talks launched in the Qatari capital in 2001 -- were to blame for the failure of the three-day huddle.
The talks, which also included US Trade Representative Susan Schwab, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson and Agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel, were originally scheduled to run until Saturday.
WTO Director General Pascal Lamy tried to put a brave face on the breakdown, saying a global deal was still possible.
"Convergence among these members would have been helpful to pave the way towards multilateral convergence," Lamy, who did not take part in the talks, said in a statement from Geneva.
"But helpful does not mean indispensable. This negotiation is an endeavour among the 150 members of the WTO."
The WTO had been hoping to reach an agreement by the end of the year that would accelerate international trade and give poor nations better access to rich markets.
Participants fear the US presidential campaign next year could make fruitful international negotiations on trade impossible.
Under the organisation's rules, any deal must be approved by consensus and even a single dissenting voice can block it.
