Infact, as far as I am concerned, the Dow simply represents how much they are stealing from the people, while they laugh all the way to the bank. Yes, it really IS that bad! Mostly a bunch of insiders that are going to make in the stock market. The rest are just dupes of more ponzy....

We have been told so many false hoods, I seriously question whether there is actually nuclur subs or Nuclur power naval vessels. How would you cool off reactors? Would you use ocean water and if so, does Navy throw that radioactive waste overboard? Logic would dictate that the benefit from having nuclur power would undermine using as much oil as humanly possible, being that is the only road to insure a high price for crude so we all pay threw the nose.

Ron Paul on This Week with George Stephanopoulos
--------------------------------------------
Did anyone else notice how Stephanopoulos fails to blink normaly, especially at the beginning of the interview.
A classic sign of Child Trauma Brainwashing. Watch the eyes of all the Whore media puppets when they hold their eyes open stare-ing directly at the other person, it indicates they are on auto pilot, reading a learned script imbedded in thier memory.
The interviewer also has that obnoxious habit of the LIE-REPEATER's over-talking the guest's answer, so to prevent the listener from hearing the full point of what the guest is saying.

Military ANALyst: West Needs More Terror To Save Doomed Foreign Policy
Only attacks on scale of 9/11, 7/7 can save bolster resolve according to war studies head
Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Tuesday, July 10, 2007
The West needs more terror attacks on the scale of 9/11 and 7/7 in order to save a failing foreign policy, according to Lt.-Col. Doug Delaney, chair of the war studies program at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario.
>>any foreign policy that involves WAR is not a policy, let alone successful. WAR = DEATH.
>>wish theyed spend more time on peace studies.
In a paraphrased quote attributed to Delaney, he concludes that "The key to bolstering Western resolve is another terrorist attack like 9/11 or the London transit bombings of two years ago."
>>and the bastards are willing to do another self inflicted wound to protect their war machine profits. kill prophets for profit.. they love to.
"If nothing happens, it will be harder still to say this is necessary," adds Delaney.
>>that isnt a clue of itself to this prick?
Last month, the new chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party Dennis Milligan said that there needed to be more attacks on American soil for President Bush to regain popular approval.
>>another inhumane and unrealistic war mongering bastard, to say that is terrorism of itself, and BUSH is NOT ever going to regain any popular approval. Dennis Milligan is a nutjob freak.
keep these bastards talking so they expose themselves as the traitors that they are, I vote we drop them all off in the middle of a conflict area wrapped in an American Flag like a straightjacket, as a peace offering.

Every 5 minutes there is a fire, shooting or abduction. How could any one believe our population is 300 million or is that just another false statistic because no one actually knows. Hey is it true that John Marc Kar was arrested? Also read recently 100,000 Vietnam viets have committed sucide since returning home from that phony war. Sounds ridiculious being that most of those men were survivors and could have managed pretty well off govt subsidies.

Ron Paul On Morning Joe
Paul does well, as is typical. And Scarborough makes a comment about Paul surprising everyone in New Hampshire and refers to him as the next President of the United States. I wouldn’t rule out Paul doing better than anyone expects in New Hampshire, largely because that state’s primary usually produces one surprise or another. I’d be willing to lay odds against Scarborough’s second prediction, though.

HR 2900 is the mirror image of Senate Bill 1082 that claimed to reform the FDA but mostly gave the agency more money and power, even creating a new entity (Reagan-Udall) that squarely puts FDA leaders in the drug business. Health freedom advocates fought hard to amend S 1082 in a way that would protect nutritional supplements from FDA tyranny while banning television advertising for new drugs, but the deep pockets won out and the U.S. senate kowtowed to Big Pharma and passed the bill that drug companies preferred.
Now the House is about to pass its version of the bill, which would place this legislation one step closer to being signed into law by our corrupt pro-Pharma president, who has yet to sign a single bill that actually delivered better quality (or more affordable) health care to anyone.
Action needed
We need to flood the office of Nancy Pelosi with phone calls, urging her to allow debate and amendments on HR 2900.
You may call her office at (202) 225-4965 or email her at: AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov
You will be transferred to voice mail where you can leave a message. Urge Rep. Pelosi to allow debate and amendments on HR 2900 by removing it from the Suspension Calendar. This will allow the bill to be brought up under a regular order, which will give Congressman Ron Paul the opportunity to offer amendments that will help support health freedom (among other things).
If you want to live in a country where you retain free access to dietary supplements, please take action now to help move HR 2900 into a status allowing debate and amendments. You must call today, tonight or early tomorrow morning (Tuesday morning).
You may also contact Reps. Hoyer, Bonner, and Blunt by calling them through the Capital Switchboard: 202-225-3121
Urge them to support the same thing. Please also contact your own congressperson and urge them to support open debate and amendments on HR 2900.
This action is supported by many leaders and groups in the health freedom movement, even those that don't normally agree with each other. It is easy to see that HR 2900 stands as a serious threat to health freedom, and we cannot afford to miss this opportunity to introduce meaningful amendments to the legislation.

http://911exposed.org/NCC.htm
***extract***
Why might someone want to target the Naval Command Center (NCC)?
Most people know of the NORAD “all seeing” defensive network, with radar and satellite capabilities. But in their shadow, the NCC also was a very formable command and control facility, with some overlapping capacities. The site of the attack occurred on the first floor at the Naval Command Center portion of the Pentagon. The facility was a powerhouse of information gathering, command and control, and systems for monitoring “all warfare mission areas.”
Starting in 1996 the Navy was implementing an upgrade; The Tactical Command System (TCS) upgrades the Navy’s Command Control, Computer and Intelligence (C3I) systems and processes C3I information for all warfare mission areas including planning, direction and reconstruction of missions for peacetime, wartime and times of crises. Included among these C3I systems are: the unified command centers of CINCPAC and CINCLANT, the Navy Command Center…[i] [Emphasis added]
The only U.S. Navy Command Center survivor, Lieutenant Kevin Shaeffer, claimed: “Had the Command Center not been destroyed it surely would have been able to provide the highest levels of our Navy leadership with updates as to exactly what was occurring.”[ii]
If someone wanted to silence any evidence or witnesses that had privy knowledge of what happened on 9/11 — there were two choices; either they were with the perpetrators and cooperated, or they weren’t and had to be destroyed. This might have made the NCC a prime target if the Navy wasn’t in on the neocon’s Attack on America. However, there is no evidence that the Navy was directly involved.
________________
Naval Intelligence? Something to consider, I feel; it sure does sound like a good possibility as to the intended target (be it either a primary or a secondary as was the extremely important documents and other miscellaneous -- $$ -- all tied up in the WTC) -- as to specific lodging inside the Pentagon, it was certainly DESTROYED. Gotta wonder.

Any wonder why the U.S. Government loves it that American cities are being flooded with Catholic Mexicans?? Wonder why they sit back and let it happen?? Not just for cheap labor for the rich elite business owners!! I was in Atlanta recently, a city mostly made up of African Slave decendants, I was amazed to see so many thousands of Mexicans walking around downtown, I hadn't been to Atlanta in several years and noticed a huge change in the demographics of the city! By design?? Anyone been to New Orleans lately? It's been flooded with Mexican laborers that have no plans of leaving once the work is done in 20 years! lol

Congress returns, ready to battle Bush

They make it sound as if they are looking out for the best interest of this country -- when in reality they are magicians performing slight of hand tricks to the applause of all the brain dead morons that smile and nod their head in agreement as if it truly means something in the positive. Well, it doesn't.
They tell us pre-election (Congress) of their intent to pursue impeachment of GWB -- and then -- when they have their hands on the controls, tell us impeachment is off the table. That oughta be one of the first clues to lack of any sincere concern for this nation.

Terrorist organization logos
http://www.ironicsans.com/2007/
0...tion_logos.html
Terrorist groups, like any organization, need brand identities. With so many groups claiming credit for terrorist acts, and so many videotapes being put out featuring men in ski masks, it’s hard to keep track of which group committed what violent act. So terrorist organizations have logos. It recently occurred to me that someone had to actually design those logos. But how did they decide who gets to do it? Did the job go to whichever terrorist had a copy of Adobe Illustrator?

Candidate Hillary Does Iraq
http://www.populistamerica.com/
c...llary_does_iraq
June 26, 2007
by James Rothenberg
I received a letter from Hillary Clinton the other day noting my "concerns" regarding Iraq. She acknowledges the "seriousness" of the situation which is a "major and constant focus of hers". I'm sure it is. The question is, for what reason?
Hillary believes that "the President should abandon his escalation of the war". She chooses not to say "his" war because it could not have been "his" war without the help of people like "her". This leaves aside the annoying distinction that this never really was a "war", in the sense of two opposing sides, but simply an attack of the most strong on the most weak, putting it in the preferred state terminology, "shock and awe".
She feels our troops (whom she "fully supports") should be given a "new strategy" in place of what, she doesn't mention, but one assumes to be an "old strategy". This may be the strategy that didn't materialize - the immaculate takeover. Had it materialized it is debatable whether she would have been overcome by the "seriousness" of the situation.
This attitude is made apparent in the following sentence. "We cannot afford to repeat past failures, such as not planning adequately for the conflict and failing to properly equip our men and women in uniform." The "conflict", the focus of her "seriousness", is tacitly justified.
She believes a full reconsideration of the terms and conditions of the authorization for the use of force in Iraq is "overdue". One may rightly ask, at what date was it first overdue?
Hillary cites her January trip to Iraq to assess the situation "firsthand" and express her "gratitude" to the troops. Anyone who has ever served in the military can tell you that the last thing you want to hear is that some dignitary is coming to visit your base because all that means is hassle and scrubdown. There is a play being staged called ?Look and Act Your Best' and everyone understands this is a play except the dignitary for whom it is being performed.
She notes her Troop Protection and Reduction bill would cap the number of troops in Iraq at the level before the President's escalation. The selection of this level is no accident because it is not until this late time that she moderated her visible support of the occupation, an occupation whose illegality and immorality can be ascertained without "firsthand" experience.
And then of course she pulls out the most incredulous piece of Washington doctrine - that we have to put "real pressure on the Iraqi government" - just what Iraqis need, more pressure. Putting it cutely, this is equivalent to beating someone until their morale increases.

More from Corpwatch on Omnicom

Triangle of Silence
http://www.corpwatch.org/article...le.php?
id=11836
Omnicom, which holds 1,500 subsidiary agencies in public relations, advertising and other media industries, was also silent. A spokesperson in their New York office would only say that Ketchum was bound by Omnicom’s code of conduct, and referred all other calls to Ketchum, which did not return numerous calls and e-mails from CorpWatch. Ketchum has also referred other reporters to the DoE. But the DoE – which has defended the Williams arrangement while simultaneously pledging to get to the bottom of it – also did not return calls for comment.
Jack O’Dwyer, whose PR news website http://www.odwyerpr.com has been reporting on the Williams scandal, said he and his site have been playing the role of a default PR firm for Ketchum and Omnicom. He says has been handling media calls for the company – “supplying basic information, documents, and background including the history of PR and the major trends of the past few decades.” The companies might think twice about letting O’Dwyer handle their PR: He isn’t putting a positive spin on things, harrying both Ketchum and Omnicom in editorials such as “Heads Should Roll.”
PR Industry Denounces Ketchum
While the responses from Ketchum and Omnicom to the scandal were muted, the outcry from some in the PR industry itself was unequivocally clear. Richard Edelman, chief executive officer of Edelman Worldwide, the largest independent public relations firm, called the Williams incident “profoundly depressing.” He noted in his blog that advertising pays for space -- but PR “is supposed to earn it.”
“We are being asked to believe that the problem is convergence," Edelman continued, "that the blurring of the lines between advertising and PR is a function of technology and immediate access to information.” He disagreed with this rational, adding, “the response from several key members of the PR establishment is frankly very disappointing.”
Elliot Sloane, chief executive officer of Sloane & Company public relations, wrote that he withdrew his firm’s membership in the Council of Public Relations Firms after he said the agency laid the blame at Williams’ feet. Sloane called the response “tepid” and “apologetic,” although the Council has since said the kind of arrangement Ketchum had with Williams was “unacceptable.”
The Williams scandal comes at a bad time for the PR industry, which is under pressure from Wall Street to meet monthly financial goals and needs to “produce results almost immediately,” according to Judith Phair, president of the Public Relations Society of America.
At the same time, the industry is dealing with two major over-billing trials involving government agencies. In Los Angeles, John Stodder, a former Fleishman-Hillard senior vice president, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly helping to submit false bills that defrauded $250,000 from the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, which held a $3 million annual contract with Fleishman-Hillard. Stodder has pled not guilty to numerous counts of wire fraud.
Elsewhere, in New York, a trial is underway in which two Ogilvy & Mather employees – Shona Seifert and Thomas Early -- have been accused of helping over-bill PR work to disguise a $3 million shortfall in labor costs on an account for the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The government settled a civil case against the firm in 2002 for $1.8 million.

According to the House report, companies owned by New York-based Omnicom have a virtual monopoly -- 89 percent -- of government PR contracts awarded between 2001 and 2004. The company, whose headquarters are on Madison Avenue, the heart of the advertising industry, reeled in $8.6 billion in revenue in 2003 from clients like Kodak, Dow Chemical and Heinz ketchup. Ketchum held $97 million, one-third of the total, followed by the Matthews Media Group ($52 million), Fleishman-Hillard ($41 million) and Porter Novelli ($33 million). While it is not known how many of these contracts involve practices such as the Williams deal, the government seems to take the scandal seriously. The list of agencies looking into PR contracts, in one way or the other, includes the Government Accountability Office, the Inspector General, the Federal Communications Commission, Congress and the Pentagon. Ketchum, which has earned numerous Silver Anvils (the industry’s highest honor) from the Public Relations Society of America as well as a 2002 “Agency of the Year” award from PR Week, the popular industry magazine, initially responded to the incident via a January 13 PR Week editorial by Ray Kotcher, chief executive officer of Ketchum. In the editorial, Kotcher put a positive spin on the scandal, calling it a “transformational event.” He referred to Williams' behavior as "an oversight" and implied that the scandal was politically motivated. “It is no coincidence that this activity occurred in Washington,” Kotcher wrote, “where political divisiveness is at an all-time high." He also suggested the rise of punditry had something to do with the whole affair:
“Williams' unusual role as both a pundit and information source – through his ad-production firm – would seem to blur the lines that once so clearly defined journalism and news organizations,” Kothcer wrote. “I'm not sure even the media itself can agree anymore on how to strictly define and distinguish journalists and news organizations.” As reporters hounded the firm, Ketchum released a later statement saying it had made a “lapse in judgment” -- but didn’t make the statement available on its website, as Jay Rosen, a journalism professor at New York University noted. In his blog, PressThink, Rosen wrote that Ketchum’s site “shows no awareness at all that it is the ‘live’ public face of a company in the news and under pressure from peers. This would be mildly comical in the case of a chemical company. It is more amusing, and ironic in the instance of a public relations agency fighting for its reputation …”
In another curious development, a site on http://www.ketchum.com that touts the virtues of influencing public opinion leaders – through a special tool Ketchum calls “Influencer Relationship Management” – is no longer working.

However, it is not an e-Pearl Harbor we must be concerned about but an e-Reichstag Fire. Back in 1933, Hitler's Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, a pioneer of perception management, hired a bunch of Nazi hooligans to burn down the Reichstag. The next day, while the German Parliament was still smoldering, the Nazis passed the Reichstag Decree, which effectively relegated the German Constitution and all of its civil liberty provisions to the toilet. But would the United States take advantage of such a situation in cyber-spacr to advance a secret agenda? They've probably already done so. Back in 1988, the Internet was treated to its first worm. Programmed and launched by Robert Morris, Jr., the worm crippled hundreds of thousands of computers connected to the Internet. It just so happened that young Mr. Morris's dad was the Chief Scientist at NSA during a period when the agency was feverishly trying to test the vulnerabilities of various operating systems and application programs.
Fear is the greatest weapon but the truth is the greater defense!
Even in pseudo cyber-war, the truth is the greatest casualty!

Local FBI agent's records could be made publicBy The Tribune-Review
Tuesday, July 3, 2007
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/...n/
s_515567.html
The disciplinary records of the lead FBI agent investigating former Allegheny County Coroner Dr. Cyril H. Wecht could be made public next week unless federal prosecutors appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia on Monday declined to reconsider its earlier decision that certain documents contained in Special Agent Bradley Orsini's personnel file should be released. Orsini has been reprimanded several times during his career, according to court filings. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, among others, petitioned the court to unseal several documents, including Orsini's records. In June 2006, a judge agreed. Wecht, 76, of Squirrel Hill, was charged in January 2006 with 84 counts of fraud and theft. In court papers, Wecht's lawyers accused Orsini of asking a former colleague to lie during an internal investigation into Orsini's alleged misconduct.

Cyr..._Assassinations
House Select Committee on Assassinations
In 1978 he testified before the House Select Committee on Assassinations as part of a nine member forensic pathology panel. In many of its conclusions, the forensic pathology panel voted 8 to 1, with the dissenting vote being consistently that of Cyril H. Wecht. [3] Wecht requested to testify in person before the committee.
Mr. PURDY. Dr. Wecht, what are the major conclusions of the forensic pathology panel with which you are in disagreement?
Dr. WECHT. The major disagreement is the single-bullet theory which I deem to be the very essence of the Warren Commission report's conclusions and all the other corroborating panels and groups since that time. It is the sine qua non of the Warren Commission report's conclusions vis-a-vis a sole assassin. Without the single-bullet theory, there cannot be one assassin, whether it is Oswald or anybody else. I am in disagreement with various other conclusions of the panel.
Wecht introduced the synchronized-bullet theory to the committee;
"If the President had been struck in the head with a second bullet, then it would have been fired in synchronized fashion simultaneous with the shot that did strike him in the rear of the head, as has been presented here today." He theorized the bullet could have been made of frangible ammunition. "It is, therefore, possible that that extensive deformity of the scalp, underlying galea, underlying bone calvarium, could also be the locus of the second shot of some kind of frangible ammunition" However he said "it is a remote possibility and I certainly cannot equate that with reasonable medical certainty."
Dr Wecht's objections were centered in his ballistic theories of the so called "pristine bullet";
" Wrist alone, as I have already said, I believe would have produced more deformation than we see here had those injuries been noted that we demonstrated on a blow-up of Gov. John Connally's wrist X-ray a moment ago"
His photographic analysis of the Zapruder film which led him to conclude the president had been shot before Gov. John Connally...

An Interview with FBI Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds
http://www.zmag.org/content/prin...12&
sectionID=72
FBI language specialist Sibel Edmonds was fired from her job with the FBI’s Washington Field Office in March 2002. Her crime was reporting security breaches, cover-ups, blocking of intelligence, and the bribery of U.S. individuals including high-ranking officials. The State Secret Privilege has often been invoked to block court proceedings on her case, and the U.S. Congress has even been gagged to prevent further discussion.
Edmonds uncovered, for example, a covert relationship between Turkish groups and former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), who reportedly received tens of thousands of dollars in bribes in return for withdrawing the Armenian Genocide Resolution from the House floor in 2000.
Born in Iran in 1970, Edmonds received her BA in criminal justice and psychology from George Washington University and her MA in public policy and international commerce from George Mason University. She is the founder and director of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition (NSWBC) and in 2006, received the PEN/Newman’s Own First Amendment Award. She speaks Turkish, Farsi and Azerbaijani.
This interview was conducted in Washington on April 23. To follow the development of her case, visit www.justacitizen.com.
Khatchig Mouradian—It’s been more than five years since you first contacted the Senate Judiciary Committee to reveal the story on Turkish bribery of high-level U.S. officials. Can you tell us about how this has evolved since then, and where it stands now?
Sibel Edmonds—Sure. It’s been slightly over five years since I went to the Senate Judiciary Committee and briefed both Senator Charles Grassley’s (R-Iowa) staff and Senator Patrick Leahy’s (D-Vt.) staff in a classified fashion, giving them the specific document numbers, document names, names of specific targets and detailing the issues related to my case. And as you might remember, a few months after I briefed the Senate Judiciary Committee, both Senators started speaking out pretty loudly in the media. We had the CBS 60 Minutes segment when Senator Grassley showed up and said this is outrageous. Even people within the FBI have confirmed all the stories and said we need to turn the FBI upside down on this issue. Senator Leahy was making similar statements and both Senators were trying to put together a hearing on this case. I was later told that the Chairman at the time prevented a hearing and some people—including good FBI agents who would be telling the truth under oath—from testifying and shedding light on the issue.
Two years later, we had the unclassified version of that report issued by the Inspector General’s Office. This is the Department of Justice’s own Inspector General’s Office. After two years of investigating, the report confirmed my own reports. It found that although these allegations were supported by documents and other witnesses, the FBI refused to conduct a follow-up or an investigation—a real investigation—on this case. So you have this case which for the past five years has been confirmed by Congressional sources, and people familiar with my case, and the Department of Justice’s Inspector General’s Office, and has never been contradicted or denied by the Justice Department or the FBI, and still nothing has been done.
There has been no hearing and nobody has been held accountable. We are basically where we started and I find that really appalling. It is a very sad situation and not only for me or my case. Many people think this is about one whistleblower, one language specialist who worked for the FBI and was wrongfully terminated. But I wouldn’t have been terminated if I hadn’t brought forth issues that were important to the American public, and even to people outside the United States. This case sheds light on several important areas, including our foreign policy, which is hypocrisy-ridden. We’re not talking only about foreign individuals; we’re talking about our own, about U.S. officials who have engaged in actions that are against the American public’s best interests and what we stand for. But the American people still don’t know about this case, and Congress has done nothing despite the fact that they have been fully briefed and have gotten full confirmation.

'Nobody knows what [Bush] thinks,' says official, 'even the people who work for him' RAW STORY
Published: Sunday July 8, 2007
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/
No..._says_0708.html
Iraq fails to meet key US political and security benchmarks in an upcoming report to Congress that seems certain to increase calls from lawmakers and the restive public to withdraw US troops, a US newspaper said Sunday. The government of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was unlikely to meet any of the political and security goals and timelines set for it by President George W. Bush when he announced a major shift in US Iraq policy last January, the Washington Post daily reported.
"Top administration officials are aware that the strategy's stated goal -- using U.S. forces to create breathing space for Iraqi political reconciliation -- will not be met by September, said one person fresh from a White House meeting," Karen DeYoung and Thomas E. Ricks wrote for the Post. "But though some, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, have indicated flexibility toward other options, including early troop redeployments, Bush has made no decisions on a possible new course."
The official told the paper, "The heart of darkness is the president. Nobody knows what he thinks, even the people who work for him."

Democrats have daggers drawn for Bush
Published: Sunday July 8, 2007

Dem...u_07082007.html
With daggers drawn for a weakened White House, congressional Democrats return from a short recess this week plotting to further undermine President George W. Bush's waning political sway. Even as Bush's signature immigration reform bill was strangled in the Senate last month, Democratic leaders were mapping out new misery for a president beset by rock-bottom poll ratings, the three bloodiest months for US troops in Iraq since the war began in 2003 and a fraying Republican support base.

About This Site: A Gathering Danger
http://masters-of-war.org/
aboutt...utthissite.html
Seeing how incredibly uninformed and misinformed so many Americans seem to be, I felt strongly, desperately even, the need to get this this information out to people, to wake them up to this danger, so that we might form some sort of defense against this fast creeping, ever growing threat. And like Bill Moyers, I believe that defense has to begin with information: i.e., the truth. I realize I'm just Some Guy, Joe Average Citizen, with even less credibility than Dick Cheney. You may think I'm overstating, exaggerating, hysterical, even paranoid; but I don't expect you to take my word for it. That's why this introduction, (and this site) is bolstered with quotes and interviews with Smart People, people like Walter Cronkite, Bill Moyers, Kurt Vonnegut, Nelson Mandela and the Mayor of London. People who know a little of what's going on. People who are telling us the danger is real, and it's now. You don't have to take my word for anything. But I hope you'll listen and hear them. Your freedom, and your life, and the lives of your family, and the survival of our democracy, our country, and our planet, depend on it. To continue following them down their path of greed, fear and violence can only ultimately destroy us all, in a vicious downward spiral of endless lies, terrorism and war. Did we learn nothing from the example of Israel and Palestine? Did we learn nothing from Vietnam? Did we learn nothing from Watergate and October Surprise and Iran Contra? Did we learn nothing from the the assisted coups and the collusions with dictators and death squads in South and Central America, whose greatest enemies were true Christians and missionaries? Did we learn nothing from the example of Germany in the 1930's? What have we become? What have we allowed ourselves to become? Caught between the comfort of our delusions and the anxiety of fears stoked by our court-appointed rulers, we have blindly followed them down a dark path, possibly of No Return. With fear as a prod, we're being lured into a monumental quagmire--not just in Iraq--but, likely, a world wide conflagration--as in World War III.

>>>>>>>>>>OOPS, Blue Cross bing investigated for violation of RICO??????
http://www.michaelmoore.com/
_ima...Cross_sicko.pdf
Michael Moore got his hands on a secret internal memo from Blue Cross (.pdf) worrying about the ramifications of his movie SiCKO:
“You would have to be dead to be unaffected by Moore’s movie…If popular, the movie will have a negative impact on our image in this community.”
Suggestions
I believe the most successful strategy will not be in attacking the movie for its weaknesses or
misperceptions, but in distancing ourselves and our brand from the groups and motivations he
attacks, demonstrating the good that we do and achieve (aligns with BCBSA strategy), and in
articulating our disappointment that he did not address the truly relevant issue of improving our
health and wellness. We will convene a team to consider other approaches and work on potential
messages for media inquiries, customer service, and employees.
Confidential Memo (from partner)
Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association
Talking Points in Response to Michael Moore’s “Sicko”
June 2007
1) The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) and the 39 Blue Cross and Blue Shield
companies are committed to improving the U.S. healthcare system for our nearly 100 million members
through continuous innovation that reflects the ever-changing healthcare landscape and the needs of
the consumer.
2) The Blues recognize the need for improvement of both the coverage and delivery of healthcare.
But the divisive tone set forth by Michael Moore and his movie "Sicko" is not helpful. Positive
change to our healthcare system can be best achieved through shared responsibility, not
recrimination. To ensure Americans have access to the best healthcare that is both timely,
efficient, and of high quality, requires the collective contribution of all stakeholders –
consumers, providers, employers and the government.
3) The Blues participation in the Health Coverage Coalition for the Uninsured is a primary example
of how the broader healthcare community is working together to reduce the number of uninsured in
the United States.
4) The Blues are working on myriad initiatives that ensure Americans have access to quality and
affordable healthcare. Each day, Blue Plans across the country are bringing healthcare value to
their members in a number of ways such as new advances in health information technology and greater
access to cost and quality information. In addition:
o The Blues recently created Blue Health Intelligence a data resource that will shine light on
emerging medical trends and treatment options in an unprecedented way. To further the use of
evidenced-based medicine, BCBSA has called upon Congress to establish an independent, payer-funded
institute that will study the comparative effectiveness of new and existing medical treatments and
procedures.
o Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies are at the forefront of healthcare transparency by
providing their members with online access to real-time information related to provider quality and
the cost of common healthcare services. In addition, the Blues have committed to making personal
health records available to their members by 2008.
o We are working to ensure that Medicare is funded appropriately and that seniors continue to
have access to comprehensive benefits.
5) The Blues are proud of these efforts and we will continue to work with consumers, providers,
employers and the government to provide Americans with the healthcare services and information they
need to lead full, healthy lives.

Senators Say They Will Call On Patrick Fitzgerald To Testify »
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/07.../08/leahy-fitz/
Today on CNN’s Late Edition, Sens. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and Arlen Specter (R-PA), the committee’s top Republican, announced that they were interested in calling Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald to testify about the CIA leak investigation. Specter said he wanted Fitzgerald to appear so he could press him to justify the CIA leak investigation. “Why were they pursuing the matter long after there was no underlying crime on the outing of the CIA agent?” Specter said, echoing the common right-wing talking point. “Why were they pursuing it after we knew who the leaker was?” Leahy, on the other hand, is apparently more interested in learning more about Fitzgerald’s interviews with President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Watch it:
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/07.../08/leahy-fitz/
As for calling Scooter Libby to testify, Leahy said it was a dead end. “It would do no good to call Scooter Libby. His silence has been bought and paid for,” he said, referring to Bush’s commutation, “and he would just take the fifth.”

South Africa blames Climate Change for poor turnout at Live Earth
http://www.pr-inside.com/live-ea...ame-
r167138.htm
Officials at LIVE EARTH Johannesburg have blamed the effects of climate change for poor audience attendance at Saturday's (07Jul07) South African event.
Organiser John Langford believes extremely cold weather in the region - it snowed last week (ends06Jul07) for the first time in a quarter of a century kept people away from the concert, which starred Joss Stone, UB40, Angelique Kidjo and Baaba Maal.
Speaking before the event, Langford said, "We're expecting 10,000 here tonight. It's a bit chilly, and we've had a strange winter... is it climate change? We had snow in Jo'burg last week for the first time in 25 years." But critics have blamed poor publicity for the weak turn-out.

June 20, 2007 Stupid Party - Republicans Rage Against Ron Paul
by Kara Hopkins The American Conservative Magazine
http://buchanan.org/blog/?p=783
It was a dangerous night in South Carolina: the ten candidates for the Republican nomination gathered, and a debate broke out. Damage control was swift. Party elders rushed to excommunicate the instigator. Pundits howled, bloggers convulsed: “moonbat on Kool Aid,” “crackpot,” “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.” But for all that pious fury, a candidate few Americans had heard of owned the next day’s headlines. Ron Paul had committed the sin of truth—and the reaction revealed much about the party that shunned him. The evening began predictably enough. Focus-grouped down to their ties, the heavyweights managed to attach conviction to issues they rarely think about, while a pack of also-rans nipped at their wingtips. The audience inserted polite applause. Then the play went off script. Asked if bringing our troops home from Iraq was really a Republican position, Ron Paul countered, “There’s a strong tradition of being antiwar in the Republican Party. It is the constitutional position.” Had 9/11 altered that, his questioner inquired. Paul responded that American foreign policy was a “major contributing factor. … They attacked us because we’ve been over there; we’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years…” The crowd went silent. “Are you suggesting that we invited the 9/11 attacks, sir?” A more packaged candidate would have prefaced his answer with a disclaimer—“Of course we did nothing to deserve the attacks.” Paul believes this, but he doesn’t park on Madison Avenue. “I’m suggesting that we listen to the people who attacked us and the reason they did it…” The party men could stand it no longer, and Rudy Giuliani volunteered to chasten the prodigal: “That’s an extraordinary statement, as someone who lived through the attack of September 11, that we invited the attack because we were attacking Iraq. I don’t think I’ve heard that before…” The audience thundered approval, and Rudy pressed his advantage: “I would ask the congressman to withdraw that comment and tell us that he didn’t really mean that.” But he did mean it—and gave no ground: “If we think we can do what we want around the world and not incite hatred, then we have a problem. They don’t come here to attack us because we’re rich and free. They come and they attack us because we’re over there.” The moderator declined to follow up and moved on to less disruptive subjects —for once the Confederate flag seemed safe—but Paul’s inconvenient truth lingered in the air and led the coverage. Less noted was the reaction of the crowd, Roman in its fervor. What were they applauding? Giuliani’s sloganeering prowess? Or his profession of ignorance? Neither commends him—or them.
Believing that our enemies’ motivation is beyond the scope of legitimate discussion should render Giuliani incapable of strategic analysis. Surely the old prosecutor doesn’t think that discerning a felon’s motive absolves him of the crime? He told Larry King that his plan for pacifying Iraq was to “Do it with more troops—maybe 100,000, 150,000 more.”But on what basis did he make that decision if realists who come within ten feet are ordered to recant? The alternative is that Giuliani really is as remote from the facts as he claimed and was rejecting something he knows nothing about. Worse, he shouted down a more knowledgeable man. Still the crowd downed that cocktail of arrogance and ignorance, delivering the loudest applause of the night and proving Alexander Pope’s maxim: “shallow draughts intoxicate the brain.” Beyond the hall, ovations rippled across the Republican ranks. Wrote RedState’s Rob Bluey: “If Giuliani goes on to capture the nomination, his response to Ron Paul will be one of the moments that is replayed years from now. It was so powerful that I found myself cheering him on in front of the TV.” Other candidates clamored onto the bandwagon: “I thought Mayor Giuliani’s intercession there was appropriate, and frankly, very, very excellent,” said John McCain. “I really appreciated it because we should never, never believe that we brought on this conflict. This is an evil force that is trying to destroy everything we stand for and believe in. And this is a transcendent struggle. That’s why I want to be president of the United States.” It’s come to this. The party once known for its sobriety wants to be lulled with stories about evil forces and immaculate heroes. Prudence yields to utopianism, intellectual combat to blind thuggery. Gone are the wisemen who cast long shadows and wrote great books. Lost too is the Right’s old default that distrusted power and those who want it, replaced by a vision of the irreproachable state.
There’s an impoverished efficiency to this new regime. Millions take dictation from talk radio, keep I-hate-Barbra-Streisand books climbing the bestseller lists, and enjoy the nightly spectacle of Alan Colmes being waterboarded. The ideological contests that once provoked fierce infighting are settled: all that remains is to purge offenders and sell the party line. “If Republicans start thinking like this, we’re dead,” radio talker Glenn Beck said of Paul’s dissent. If Republicans start thinking, they may realize that indignation isn’t argument. “Ron Paul really has no business being on stage as a legitimate representative of Republicans,” Michelle Malkin told Fox’s John Gibson. She’s right—though not for the reason she thinks. Unwilling to engage the facts of Paul’s case, she made up her own, attempting to associate him with the 9/11 Truth Movement, which believes the U.S. was complicit in, or at least forewarned of, the terrorist attacks. Members of the group attended a Paul campaign event, but he has never endorsed their conspiracy theories. Malkin later admitted her error but not before denouncing “tinfoil hat wearers who indulge in this kind of fantasy, where America bears blame for global jihad.” No doubt a chorus of Republican faithful again cheered their TVs. It’s voguish to pronounce a “conservative crack-up,” but just the opposite is occurring. The once marginal tendency has won mass appeal—a kind of victory. But it had to leave behind that frontier where intellectual pioneers wrangled ideas scaled to the terrain. As the ranks swelled, the canon shrunk to a single issue that brooks no challenge. It fits comfortably into a Fox soundbite and finds followers aplenty. So powerful is the martial accord that anyone who disagrees must be something other than conservative: liberal, traitorous, mad. There’s power in that consensus—and fragility. Einstein wrote, “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” Ron Paul proved that he has brain and backbone. But the party he’s bidding to lead has lost the ability to distinguish between a constitutionalist and a crackpot.

Open source is a set of principles and practices that promote access to the design and production of goods and knowledge. The term was initially and is most commonly applied to the source code of software that is available to the general public with relaxed or non-existent intellectual property restrictions. This allows users to create software content through incremental individual effort or through collaboration.
The open source model of operation can be extended to open source culture in decision making, which allows concurrent input of different agendas, approaches and priorities, in contrast with more centralized models of development such as those typically used in commercial companies.[1] Open source culture is one where collective decisions or fixations are shared during development and made generally available in the public domain, as done in Wikipedia. This collective approach moderates ethical concerns over a "conflict of roles" or conflict of interest. Participants in such a culture are able to modify the collective outcomes and share them with the community. Some consider open source as one of various possible design approaches, while others consider it a critical strategic element of their operations.
Before the term open source became popular, developers and producers used various phrases to describe the concept; the term gained popularity with the rise of the Internet which enabled diverse production models, communication paths and interactive communities.[2] Later, open source software became the most prominent face of open source practices.

Presidential candidate Ron Paul won the Coalition for New Hampshire Taxpayers (CNHT) straw poll at their annual picnic in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Dr. Paul received 182 of 294 votes cast, or 65 percent. In second place was Rudy Giuliani with 24 votes, or 8 percent. The poll took place on Saturday, July 7.
"Today's strong victory is further proof that Dr. Paul's message is resonating throughout New Hampshire," said campaign manager Lew Moore. "Dr. Paul is the only candidate in this race truly dedicated to smaller government and lower taxes for all Americans."

Judges OK warrantless monitoring of Web use
http://prisonplanet.com/
articles...warrantless.htm
Christopher Booker
SF Chronicle
Sunday July 8, 2007
Federal agents do not need a search warrant to monitor a suspect's computer use and determine the e-mail addresses and Web pages the suspect is contacting, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
In a drug case from San Diego County, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco likened computer surveillance to the "pen register" devices that officers use to pinpoint the phone numbers a suspect dials, without listening to the phone calls themselves.

Conyers: Bush Should Waive Exec. Privilege, ‘Do What Clinton Did’ And Explain Commutation »
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/07...-libby-hearing/
This Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers will hold a hearing on the use and misuse of presidential clemency power, looking specifically at whether President Bush’s commutation of Scooter Libby’s prison sentence was an abuse of power.
Appearing on ABC’s This Week, Conyers said exists a “suspicion that if Mr. Libby went to prison, he might further implicate other people in the White House.” Conyers noted “there was some kind of relationship here that does not exist in any of President Clinton’s pardons… [and] it’s never existed before.”
Conyers said he is requesting Bush waive executive privilege and “do what President Clinton did — namely to bring forward any of his pardon lawyers or anyone that can put a clear light on this and put this kind of feeling that is fairly general to rest.” Watch it:

God won't do anything on his own. Wake up people who have been conditionned by religions.
There is a creator we can agree on that, the ones who will help us get out of this mad world is US.

Conyers Raises Specter Of Impeachment, Highlights Support For Removing Bush And Cheney »
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/07...rs-impeachment/
This morning on ABC’s This Week, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) highlighted the new American Research Group poll showing that nearly half of Americans want the House of Representatives to begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush, and 54 percent favor impeachment hearings for Vice President Cheney.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Conyers today about new reports that the White House will refuse new congressional requests for documents about the U.S. Attorney firings.
Conyers decried the administration’s stonewalling, adding, “We’re hoping that as the cries for the removal of both Cheney and Bush now reach 46 percent and 58 percent [sic - 54 percent], respectively, for impeachment that we could begin to become a little bit more cooperative, if not amicable, in trying to get to the truth of these matters.” Watch it:

GOP Rep.: US Attorney Iglesias fired 'because he's an idiot' David Edwards and Josh Catone Published: Sunday July 8, 2007
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/
GO...cause_0708.html
Reps. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Chris Cannon (R-UT) appeared on Fox News Sunday this morning to debate the politicization of the Justice Department. Van Hollen argued that the firing of US Attorney David Iglesias in New Mexico last December was evidence of that politicized culture. "It was clearly a case of trying to push somebody who exercises independent judgment," Van Hollen said of phone calls placed to Iglesias by Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM) and Rep. Heather Wilson (R-NM) to pressure the attorney to prosecute certain voter fraud cases. Van Hollen said that Iglesias was fired because he ultimately did not "take orders from the White House" on those cases. Cannon then spoke over Van Hollen, saying, "No, no, he was fired because he's an idiot."
NYT: 'It is time for the US to leave Iraq' RAW STORY Published: Sunday July 8, 2007
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/
NY...US_to_0708.html
In an editorial today, the New York Times calls for the immediate withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, "without any more delay than the Pentagon needs to organize an orderly exit." The Times writes that it has become "clear that the president had neither the vision nor the means to" build a stable and unified Iraq, and that the "surge" as failed to mitigate the sectarian violence that continues to rage in the country. "The political leaders Washington has backed are incapable of putting national interests ahead of sectarian score settling," writes the NYT. "Additional military forces poured into the Baghdad region have failed to change anything."
NY Times calls Iraq a 'lost cause' Published: Sunday July 8, 2007
http://rawstory.com/news/afp/
NY_...__07082007.html
The New York Times on Sunday called for US troops to leave Iraq now, writing that President George W. Bush's plan to stabilize the country through military means is a lost cause." It is time for the United States to leave Iraq, without any more delay than the Pentagon needs to organize an orderly exit," the influential daily wrote in a rare, single-issue editorial taking up one-half of an entire news page. "Like many Americans, we have put off that conclusion, waiting for a sign that President Bush was seriously trying to dig the United States out of the disaster he created by invading Iraq without sufficient cause, in the face of global opposition, and without a plan to stabilize the country afterward," the daily wrote. But it has since emerged, the Times concluded, that Bush has "neither the vision nor the means to do that."
Hardball: David Shuster smacks down Scooter Libby defender David Edwards and Muriel Kane Published: Saturday July 7, 2007
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/
Ha...ganza_0707.html
On MSNBC's Hardball on Friday, guest host David Shuster reported on a fresh controversy surrounding the Scooter Libby pardon. In a Wall Street Journal column on June 8, conservative Fouad Ajami wrote "Scooter Libby was a soldier in your -- our -- war in Iraq. He can't be left behind as a casualty of a war our country had once proudly claimed as its own." That remark has sparked widespread outrage. Ajami appeared with Shuster to defend himself, saying testily, "I don't really need to be lectured on the soldiers killed in Iraq. ... I have a nephew serving with the US military as a lieutenant in Iraq. ... You have to be able to handle a metaphor." Ajami then began laying out a set of standard talking-points, begining with the familiar argument that Libby was not really the person who leaked Valerie Plame's identity. "I know where you're going with this," interrupted Shuster. "You said, 'Oh, we know that Richard Armitage wasn't the leaker,' as if there was just one leaker. ... Richard Armitage would have only had this information about Valerie Wilson only because Scooter Libby asked the State Department for the information. ... Seven different people talked with Scooter Libby about Valerie Wilson. ... Vice President Cheney told Scooter Libby about Valerie Wilson." When Ajami attempted to continue with the assertion that "there had been no underlying crime," Shuster broke in again, pointing out that "the whole issue was that because Scooter Libby lied and obstructed the investigation, Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald was not able to make a call. This should never have been criminalized to begin with," insisted Ajami. "This was part of the debate on the Iraq War. Why do you believe that Scooter Libby lied to the FBI, lied to the grand jury if this was simply a matter of politics?" Shuster replied. Shuster then invited Iraq veteran Paul Rieckhoff, founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, to respond to Ajami's comments. Rieckhoff said, "I think it's absurd David. I think it's a new low and an act of desperation here to defend a man, comparing him to fallen soldiers. ... Part of the soldier's creed is to say that you will uphold the Army values and live the Army values. Those values include honor, integrity, personal courage. They don't include lying and breaking the law." Rieckhoff continued, "If you are going to use us as props for a political argument to defend Scooter Libby, you have to understand that we're going to push back. Scooter Libby does not embody the Army values. He is not an honorable soldier by breaking the law and lying." At the end of the segment, Fouad Ajami returned with an attempt to connect the 9/11 attacks to the war in Iraq. Shuster quickly cut him off, saying, "Mr. Ajami, I'm not going to let you end this with the idea that Iraq was part of 9/11, when everybody knows that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11."

Fred Thompson aided Nixon on Watergate
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/
20070...5FGfIIAsh1h24cA
By JOAN LOWY, Associated Press Writer
Sat Jul 7, 4:38 PM ET Choice Excerpts:
Nixon was disappointed with the selection of Thompson, whom he called "dumb as hell." The president did not think Thompson was skilled enough to interrogate unfriendly witnesses and would be outsmarted by the committee's Democratic counsel. This assessment comes from audio tapes of White House conversations recently reviewed by The Associated Press at the National Archives in College Park, Md., and transcripts of those discussions that are published in "Abuse of Power: The New Watergate Tapes," by historian Stanley Kutler.
"Oh s---, that kid," Nixon said when told by his chief of staff, H.R. Haldeman, of Thompson's appointment on Feb. 22, 1973.
"Well, we're stuck with him," Haldeman said.
In a meeting later that day in the Old Executive Office Building, Baker assured Nixon that Thompson was up to the task. "He's tough. He's six feet five inches, a big mean fella," the senator told Nixon. Publicly, Baker and Thompson presented themselves as dedicated to uncovering the truth. But Baker had secret meetings and conversations with Nixon and his top aides, while Thompson worked cooperatively with the White House and accepted coaching from Nixon's lawyer, J. Fred Buzhardt, the tapes and transcripts show.
"We've got a pretty good rapport with Fred Thompson," Buzhardt told Nixon in an Oval Office meeting on June 6, 1973. The meeting included a discussion of former White House counsel John Dean's upcoming testimony before the committee. Dean, the committee's star witness, had agreed to tell what he knew about the break-in and cover-up if he was granted immunity against anything incriminating he might say. Nixon expressed concern that Thompson was not "very smart." "Not extremely so," Buzhardt agreed. "But he's friendly," Nixon said. "But he's friendly," Buzhardt agreed. "We are hoping, though, to work with Thompson and prepare him, if Dean does appear next week, to do a very thorough cross-examination."[try not to laugh too hard]

>>Iraq is a testbed for the carbon tax

Prime Minister Maliki's attempt to push through the hydrocarbon law dominated Iraqi political news this week. The Iraqi cabinet approved the language of the draft hydrocarbons bill on Tuesday and referred the measure to Parliament, with Maliki announcing Parliament would be expected to take up debate on the matter the following day. Things did not go quite as Maliki would have hoped, however, and a fog settled over the status of the bill.
Kurdish officials immediately rejected the notion that any finalized deal has been reached, and the Sadrist bloc also announced it had reservations over the draft oil law.
Not to be left out, the Iraqi National Accord movement (INA) headed by former Iraqi prime minister Iyad Allawi released a statement saying that the draft law does not fulfill Iraqi people's interests, urging the government to slow down before approving it.
But a longtime Iraqi oil technocrat and Prime Minister Maliki's top energy adviser law must reflect not what Iraq was, but what it is now.
A large number of Iraqi drivers and owners of domestic generators are expressing their resentment over a recent decision by the Iraqi Oil Ministry to increase gas prices by 50 Iraqi dinars (3.9 U.S. cents).
Unknown gunmen took by force four oil tanker trucks that were carrying gasoline to the Iraqi capital Baghdad on the highway north of Hilla, a police source said on Tuesday.
A major pipeline carrying crude oil to Doura refinery in Baghdad was blown up just south of the Iraqi capital Friday, leading to a huge fire in the pipeline.

British Terror Head: "Be a little bit un-British and inform on each other"

London Telegraph
Sunday July 8, 2007
Britain faces a 15-year battle to end the threat posed by Islamist terrorists, the Government's new security supremo has admitted.
--and how long they been granting them amnesty?
--how many security camera's they been putting up over the last 15 years?
face it, the government pulls a buncha BS and passes a ton of laws that piss people off (yeah you mister bLIAR!) then they dont trust the people to NOT be pissed off and put up security camera's everywhere. they allowed and promoted the invasion and then cry they want people to start being snitches for em. now this American government wants the US to play the same totally screwed up game? I hope the people of the UK start tearing down camera's they never asked for. tazering and pepper spraying "police" who threaten to take away their freedoms or money for things that shouldnt even be illegal in the first place.

>>Michael Ware has completely lost his fucking mind.
He is either preparing Ameica for Hillary to continue the plan to bring the US to bankruptcy by staying in Iraq.
He works for CNN and is now using the Pottey Barn argument, "you broke it, you fix it."
For the past few years he has been criticised as telling the US too much truth about how insane the war is.
Well there will be no more of that criticism because he just had his final MK Ultra session and now is an NWO shill. He was just on CNN talking about how the US has no choice to stay in Iraq and continue dying as we prevent the Iraqis from controlling their own destiny.
He continues to propagatet the idea that Iran is infiltrating and causing the American deaths. It is surreal to watch because in the next sentence he talks about how Al-Qaeda controls many more cities in Iraq.
Since the shia iranians would kill any al-qaeda onsite, and vice-versa, this is a weird argument for someone who has previously worked hard to tell the truth.
In addition he fails to expose the hundreds of bombs that the US special forces use to blow up mosques in an attempt to create more bloodshed.
He continues to ignore the underlying issues and is waving the "stay in Iraq for the next 20 years" flag.
Watch him on CNN and see how he now kisses the asses of the disinfo artists, Anderson Cooper and the generals on the ground who can only tell us the truth when they retire.

Consider Ron Paul for President, No Matter What Political Party You Associate With!
By JessBlakemore
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren.
While serving in Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Dr. Paul’s limited-government ideals were not popular in Washington. In 1976, he was one of only four Republican congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for president.
During that time, Congressman Paul served on the House Banking committee, where he was a strong advocate for sound monetary policy and an outspoken critic of the Federal Reserve’s inflationary measures. He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family values. Dr. Paul consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and used his House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. In 1984, he voluntarily relinquished his House seat and returned to his medical practice.
Dr. Paul returned to Congress in 1997 to represent the 14th congressional district of Texas. He presently serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He continues to advocate a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a return to constitutional principles.
Congressman Paul’s consistent voting record prompted one of his congressional colleagues to say, “Ron Paul personifies the Founding Fathers’ ideal of the citizen-statesman. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are.” Another colleague observed, “There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin, rain or shine, stick to their principles. Ron Paul is one of those few.”
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Owen Sivertson, Moorhead, letter: Take look at what Ron Paul has to say
Published Sunday, July 08, 2007
Ron Paul is a congressman from Texas. In all that herd running for president he is the best one by far.
I have heard him speak and I also subscribe to his newsletter. He is honest and straightforward with no embellishing or sidestepping the issue. He tells of how far removed from the Constitution government has become. He tells of the evils of the income tax and the Federal Reserve and how they have made debt slaves of us. He tells of how GATT, NAFTA and free trade have ruined economies around the world.
Of course, if he were to be elected, we would have to elect a new Congress made up of patriots and citizen representatives instead of what we have there now. Both the Republicans and the Democrats would fight him tooth and nail. But even given that he would at least increase interest in the government and its workings, he is worthy of everyone’s consideration.

I'll tell you what, that Kelly Clarkson girl was totally awesome live. I only heard her name before. Now I seen her face, and she plain rocked the house.
Good fuckin job Kelly.
You are the real deal.

This is an interesting video following the antics of police and security, who seem to take a dislike to being filmed by the public..

I don't know the circumstance behind this incident or the people being knocked about, but the security have no legal right to stop someone in America filming on a street corner and if this is the way things are gonna be then we are in for some very rough weather.

This Rothchild character is most infuriating..money, mouth and lack of morality; he wouldn't allow Alex to speak and persistently kept changing track.
Rothchild may be the same nationality as me but he certainly doesn't represent my philosophies or my views on global warming. I don't care how much power and influence he has, either..on Alex's show he is no better and no worse than anyone else.
Maybe he wasn't used to be treated like this during the weekend's broadcast. Maybe he isn't used to answering difficult questions..whatever the reason for his persistent propaganda tactics, he doesn't represent me - he represents himself only.
These people get richer every day by hoodwinking the English into believing their tripe..and yet as Alex proved, give them some real questions and their whole game is exposed for being a complete fraud. The Rothchild's stand to get very rich, very quick, from global warming not because global warming is a threat, but because money buys power, and power allows them the right to spew their bullshit without question.
All they care about is money and power.
Today that changed for a while. Good.
