In the event you are stuck somewhere (like in your car) and are cold and hungry, I found something that is cheap, easy to carry and will keep you warm and heat you some soup or coffee (or even water) at the same time.
When my furnace motor in my home went out a few years back, I was able to keep my house fairly comfortable even in the coldest of winter until I could get the furnace fixed by using a couple of bread pans this way.
You will need an empty tuna can or two, or a bread pan or two (or as a lid you can use aluminum foil), and a metal cup, and possibly a coat hanger bent to hold up the cup (for the hot water).
Plus you will need some matches and cardboard. You tear (or cut) the cardboard in 1" or so wide strips and wind them loosely in circular fashion in the tuna can until the space is taken up. Then pour in some alcohol until the cardboard is all wet. Light it and set it in a safe place. You can even hold it and it won't get too hot. As the alcohol gets used up, hold your alcohol bottle up high and carefully pour in some more. It will last quite a while (even on one bottle), and it produces a goodly amount of heat and give light off at the same time.
In the freezing cold winter months when I have to travel in wilderness areas, I always take this heating kit with me (plus a new 8x10 tarp) so that in the event of car trouble or getting stuck because of slick roads, we can be fairly comfortable until help arrives. (In the past, it has been so cold sometimes that if my car had given out (or we got stuck somewhere), I think we would have instantly frozen to death unless we had with us this method to keep warm.)
If you don't have a lot of alcohol with you, You can cover the burning can with another can and it will put out the fire; and then you can light it back up as needed. I guess the trick is to have enough alcohol and matches with you.
How many times last winter would this method to keep warm have saved those who were stranded in the snow? (Probably every time.)
But alas! they didn't know about it.

plastic milk jugs are fer squat, they dont last and will leak. 2 liter soda bottles much better and can handle freezing too. a good water filter even better, not near as heavy as stored water. plastic isnt great stuff at all really.. but if its what you got, it will be better than not having any water.

I know that Mormons are big on food and water storage. It makes good sense, always has (in the event of any kind of emergency -- weather, job lay off, just too tired to head off to the corner market -- and yes in the event of something really terrible as well, I suppose. The Mormons have been doing it as doctrine for many years. They also believe in minimal to no debt and chipping in to help one another whether that help is asked for or not, within reason. Some are just too proud to ask, others need it and there is no shame in helping one another. Another thing they believe strongly in is maintaining a farm or garden -- fresh grown vegetables aplenty, for themself indivdiually and to others -- much is even exported to others for variety. They have a pretty darn good plan in effect for survival, in other words.
I used to be a practicing Mormon, a convert, but got away from the rigors as it was becoming too encompassing. That was the fault of myself and others of good intention, I'm sure. kells, I have stock piled food, water, gas mask, nuke pills, first aid kit, crank weather radio, water decontamination pills which are too expense so I only have a few, no seeds yet but I think that is good idea. Wished my family would listen to me and stock up too! Order large containers of wheat flour / honey / salt/ any thing that is a staple and has a long shelf life. Start a garden with heritage seeds, Keep some aside in special containers along with several bags of dirt and growlights incase you have to grow food in your home due to contamination.
Stock up on painkillers (otc) alcohol , hydrogen peroxide, bandages, surgical needles antibiotic ointment, Purchase some orgegano oil and other herbs and herbal remedies because they will be outlawed eventually.

Me again // sorry to monopolize the forum, I truly don't believe in doing something like that. But I wanted to add a few word thoughts as regards the earlier postings from me this morning. Not that it's that important, I just want to set the record straight since I'm a member (like you are).
Truth isn't always best when it's upfront and in your face, I know that. I know that in Germany (where I lived for 14 years, off and on) those folks avoid anything related to Nazi in their teachings in schools. I found this odd, but it makes sense -- they don't want to face the TRUTH. Naturally so.
The same can be said in our own schools, to some degree, we avoid the details (as in beating the subject to death) of how we locked up innocent Japanese-American citizens, putting them inside labor (concentration) camps at the outset of WWII, for stated reasons of national security. Again, avoiding the TRUTH, naturally, understandably.
I suppose 9/11 will eventually have to go to that place of less discussion also in each of us for all those same reasons above. It's very difficult accepting the horrors of the events as it is, and equally difficult engaging in serious conversations with many who right now would just as well avoid the TRUTH for reasons that are understandable. No one wants to belabor BAD // we as human beings need to always look for GOOD and to strive for that means to look forward and not so much live in the past. Can't forget history because that only leads to repeating the bad, but that's part of us being human too. I know that.
But 9/11 was an inside job -- we know that. And we know the ones responsible deserve to be identified and punsihed for their crimes against humanity. They deserve no less. And yet I also know that TIME marches on and we need to look forward for better days. Not sure how we'll get there exactly but we still need to look forward and not so much backwards.

I don't intend to say much more on this subject // I want to believe in Ron Paul, his stated goals seem the right direction // It takes us away from the evil presently in control, and I want to get away from that, as nearly everyone of us do.
I believe Ron Paul is the best candidate for 2008 // I say that even if his "Absolutely Not!" remains firm in his own personal belief. Perhaps on this one subject (as major as it is) he is simply not yet fully awake. But he obviosuly is on many other important subject // money matters, foreign investments and entanglements, the war -- those are all good topics that I believe I understand him clearly on.

We all know that Ron Paul does not support impeachment of Bush and/or Cheney -- We KNOW this without a shadow of any doubt simply because he has not signed on as a supporter of same in Congress. That's sad but true. And he has stated his perspective on this subject quite clearly when asked if he supports such cause -- his answer is NO he does not.
Our best choice yet he comes with a major shortfall -- He doesn't believe 9/11 to be an inside job. Somehow he needs to be awake to this, fully awake; it will give him better ground for which to stand and fight against the crumb bums running the show. He needs to be fully aware of things like many of us are. He might very well be too close to the forest to see the trees.
He needs to become aware (awake) tro make him a better contender for the position he seeks. He's up against some pretty hard-hitting competition with some equally hard-hitting backing (the folks that pulled off 9/11) // You can't go into battle only half-prepared. Not sure what Sun Tsu had to say about that, but bet it was close.

hello, iv been reading a lot lately on the relationships about alien mythes and stories of Atlantis..i ve discovered that the alien myths Atlantis wasn't a small place on the earth but a hovering cloud city that stretched the globe, and there are apparently tunnels that go underground, according to this myths...and there are certain places like Arizona,based of old Indian mythes and bible references, in a lot of cultures, few in Brazilian, Mexico and other places that still have tunnles in places like spirit mountain ..or volcanoes, that link into an underground system leading down into a hollow earth.

I am leaving my house in an hour after working today , to drive for an hour and a quarter to attend a Ron Paul meet-up meeting. The guy that started our local meetup said " I have no plan at all. I just started it because someone had to" . The first meeting was 4 people strong . One month later , we are 50.
Half of the people in that room had never even HEARD of Alex Jones ! That means he is not the biggest promoter of Ron. People are hearing about it from other sources and word of mouth.
You are in front of your computers right now. I want you to type in " ron paul meetup , your town , your state " and get yourself involved , because this window is only open for a little while. In 2 weeks here in NYS it will be too late for people to switch from democrat to republican so they can vote in the primaries. ITs different state to state probably. Today’s internationally abducted children find themselves searching for answers and some sense of identity in their adult years. Many of the Lebensborn children are now grandparents and a new generation of lost children are being harvested by Germany.
“As adults, many victims of bitter custody battles who had been permanently removed from a target parent, whisked away to a new town and given a new identity, still long to be reunited with the lost parent. The loss cannot be undone. Childhood cannot be recaptured. Gone forever is that sense of history, intimacy, lost input of values and morals, self-awareness through knowing one’s beginnings, love, contact with extended family, and much more. Virtually no child possesses the ability to protect him-or herself against such an undignified and total loss”. (Clawar & Rivlin, p.105).
Germany is a signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This international treaty sets forth ideals regarding the basic rights of children. This treaty addresses issues of parental abduction and the right of every child to know their parent and extended family members. It provides for the “ethnic” protection of children and for children and parents to have access to each without fear of reprisal from governments. The ideals and beliefs that children have rights and are entitled to certain protection are the to be ensured by the signatory country.
Germany has not only failed in implementing the Hague Convention, but has grossly infringed on the basic rights of the child as defined in the Child’s Rights Convention by arguing the “best interests of the child” resembling many of the Lebensborn ideals, polices and practices. There is no room in the civilized world for the barbaric and inhuman practices against children to continue, regardless of how well disguised under the auspices of “best interests of the child”, in programs such as the Lebensborn or refusing to return children because they have been “Germanized”. The German social and welfare attitudes based in the Lebensborn ideology have failed to recognize abduction and denial of access as abuse, just as the SS refused to consider the State ordering of child abduction to be “Crimes Against Humanity”. The current practice of German authorities in the handling of the vast majority of children abducted to Germany, not only of children from American, but also from countries like France, likewise are not handled nor viewed as child abuse. A closer look at the attitudes that continue to influence the German system, supporting abduction and Germanization, may provide a basis for restructuring that system so that it falls within the acceptable western norm in regards to the handling of children’s issues.
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That Congress urges--
(1) all contracting parties to the Hague Convention, particularly European civil law countries that consistently violate the Hague Convention such as Austria, Germany and Sweden, to comply fully with both the letter and spirit of their international legal obligations under the Convention;
(2) all contracting parties to the Hague Convention to ensure their compliance with the Hague Convention by enacting effective implementing legislation and educating their judicial and law enforcement authorities;
(3) all contracting parties to the Hague Convention to honor their commitments and return abducted or wrongfully retained children to their place of habitual residence without reaching the merits of any underlying custody dispute and ensure parental access rights by removing obstacles to the exercise of such rights;
(4) the Secretary of State to disseminate to all Federal and State courts the Department of State's annual report to Congress on Hague Convention compliance and related matters; and
(5) each contracting party to the Hague Convention to further educate its central authority and local law enforcement authorities regarding the Hague Convention, the severity of the problem of international child abduction, and the need for immediate action when a parent of an abducted child seeks their assistance.
“Germanization” is another term for programming [brainwashing] a child to acclimate to the German culture, giving preference to those things that are German, whilst divorcing themselves from those things not considered German, thus retarding any sense of ethnicity outside that which is German. In Dr. Nancy Faulkner’s presentation to the United Nations, Human Rights Commission, 1999, Parental Child Abduction is Child Abuse, she writes, “Children who have been psychologically violated and maltreated through the act of abduction are more likely to exhibit a variety of psychological and social handicaps. Faulkner’s seventeen page report outlines the emotional and psychological effects that abduction can have on children, including alienation.
“‘Brainwashing’ and ’programming’ are terms used more and more frequently by experts of parental child abduction. These terms may initially offend or alienate the reader who is not familiar with Parental Alienation and abduction dynamics. ‘Brainwashing’ and ‘programming’—or changing a child’s belief systems,--may be intentional, or, it may be the unintentional process of a parent imposing their belief systems on the child through an extended period of inadvertent repetition.”. (Faulkner,1999).
In the process of “Germanizing” American abducted children, different forms of alienation, and programming [brainwashing] are being used to program any sense of being American out of them.
“Naomi (now 12) exhibits the mentality of a hostage. She is afraid to talk to me freely on the phone in her father's presence. In CA she was an excellent student, but in Germany she barely passed to the next grade level. Her teacher for the previous two years commented on her report card, "she cannot formulate her own independent ideas", contradicting the German Youth Authority and judges who said, she was mature and capable of forming her own opinions. She told us, she has difficulties concentrating in school.” (Gerbatsch-Bornemisza, 2000).
Records indicate that American children have had their names changed by the abductor. The vast majority of abducted children are forbidden to contact their parents in the United States.
“…it will be 3 years since I have seen my children or spoken with them. The German authorities refuse to tell me where they are.” (Marquette, 2000).
Abducted American children are taught to speak German, forgetting English. Many abducted children under the Lebensborn program were not returned after the war because they had become too “Germanized”, so is the reasoning for German authorities in not returning children abducted today.
“Daniel and Michelle now speak only German and cannot understand English. The German courts have used this language barrier as another justification for keeping them in Germany.” (Jeffreys, 2000).
“…because the children had been living in Germany for over a year now (This was due to the fact that the case was dragged on despite the requests my lawyers and I made to have the case speeded up) and because they were in German schools and adapting well, it would cause undue stress to have then moved back to the US.” (Vajko, 2000).
“A German court ruled in 1995 that the children had bonded with the foster family and would suffer if they were returned to their father.” (CNN, 2000).
Economic incentives also exist today for German abductors. German courts are issuing orders for American parents to pay child support for their illegally kidnapped child whom they are denied access to. German foster care families receive money from the German government on a monthly basis. The amount of money these foster care families receive is dependent on the number of children they have taken in.
“Wehs, who have six foster children and get paid the equivalent of $1,000 a month for each…” (Jeffreys, 2000).
The effects of the Nuremberg laws as the Lebensborn policies put into place during the Nazi era in regards to the roles and responsibility of family members are still being felt. It may be these, the social and welfare policies and practices of Germany, that are retarding the return of internationally abducted children, rather than the Hague Treaty, citing failure of the Hague as one of the casualties of social welfare policies and practices. Allegations against Germany in its non-return policy of abducted children come not only from the United States,[ but also France].
“I informed him [German Judge] that the "new" German law stated that I had unquestionable rights to visitation. The judge told me that he "did not believe in the new law". (Gebhard,2000).
The current practice of those that have abducted children to Germany as well as the systems that support and enable these abductions, i.e. German social welfare services and German child psychologists are ‘Germanized’ using a variety of techniques. They include:
1. The forced separation from family
2. Denial of access to family
3. Forced separation from friends
4. Forced separation from community
5. Restrictions on speaking any language but German
6. Children being often told their parents were dead, did not want them or they were unfit
7. Children being told that the German way was superior than their own culture
8. Children being denied knowledge of their past
9. German abductors being eligible for economic incentives from German government.
Concern over abduction complaints regarding Germany, the governments of both France and the United States have resulted in meetings with German authorities in an attempt to remedy the problem. There was no question that the complaints by brokenhearted parents were true. Children were being abducted to Germany and German authorities were not returning them to their parents as per the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Even with the Presidents of both the United States and Germany meeting and discussing the problem, little has been accomplished except promised visitation to a selected few cases. The United States Congress responded to allegations of German non-compliance by urging compliance to the Hague.
“Whereas some contracting states, for example Germany, routinely invoke Article 13 as a justification for non-return, rather than resorting to it in a small number of wholly exceptional cases …[H. Con. Res. 293].
The House passed Congressional Resolution naming Germany as one of the countries in violation of the Hague treaty in regards to their refusal to return American children, or even ensure access between the children and the American parent.
Abductions from The United States of America
Today, children are still being abducted to Germany from other countries. While these abductions are no longer ordered by the German government, German practice in regards to the return of these children as well as “germanizing” them, appear to find more similarity in the Lebensborn Program than in the Hague Treaty, an International treaty providing language that provides for the return of children that have been illegally abducted to Germany. The Hague Treaty is not the only treaty which Germany has ratified in regards to the treatment of children.
As a signatory to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, obligations towards recognition of a child’s rights as well as obligations towards to signatory state to implement policies and resources that would ensure those rights, particularly in regards to parental abduction, have been ignored. While the Child’s Rights Convention is not provide for any mechanism by which individual grievances can be heard, it does recognize that children are deserving of special consideration and protection. In regards to parental abduction, the Rights of the Child Convention states that signatories, at the highest level, will ensure these rights:
1. The right to know and be cared for by his or her parents.
2. The right of the child to preserve his or her identity, including nationality, name and family relations as recognized by law without unlawful interference.
3. Where a child is illegally deprived of some or all of the elements of his or her identity, States Parties shall provide appropriate assistance and protection, with a view to speedily re-establishing his or her identity.
4. Ensure that a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will
5. Respect the right of the child who is separated from one or both parents to maintain personal relations and direct contact with both parents on a regular basis
6. In accordance with the obligation of States Parties under article 9, paragraph 1, applications by a child or his or her parents to enter or leave a State Party for the purpose of family reunification shall be dealt with by States Parties in a positive, humane and expeditious manner. States Parties shall further ensure that the submission of such a request shall entail no adverse consequences for the applicants and for the members of their family.
7. A child whose parents reside in different States shall have the right to maintain on a regular basis, save in exceptional circumstances personal relations and direct contacts with both parents.
8. Respect the right of the child and his or her parents to leave any country, including their own, and to enter their own country.
9. States Parties shall take measures to combat the illicit transfer and non-return of children abroad.
10. shall respect the rights and duties of the parents and, when applicable, legal guardians, to provide direction to the child in the exercise of his or her right in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child
11. No child shall be subjected to arbitrary or unlawful interference with his or her privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to unlawful attacks on his or her honor and reputation.
12. Shall use their best efforts to ensure recognition of the principle that both parents have common responsibilities for the upbringing and development of the child
13. Measures to protect the child from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse, while in the care of parent(s), legal guardian(s) or any other person who has the care of the child.
14. When considering solutions, due regard shall be paid to the desirability of continuity in a child's upbringing and to the child's ethnic, religious, cultural and linguistic background
15. States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to promote physical and psychological recovery and social reintegration of a child victim of: any form of neglect, exploitation, or abuse; torture or any other form of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; or armed conflicts. Such recovery and reintegration shall take place in an environment which fosters the health, self-respect and dignity of the child.
The underlying theme to all the right dues to a child is “in the child’s best interest”. It is in the context that the German social Welfare system appears to define a child’s best interest as that of being “German”, even to the extent of “Germanizing” the child as per the Lebensborn policy. It is under the theory of “best interest of the child” that German psychologist, family courts and social welfare services, apply policies and practice in direct violation of both The Hague Convention and the Rights of the Child Treaty. German social welfare does not recognize child abduction as child abuse, and therefore, the perpetrators are often rewarded and protected by the German system, further enabling the abuse of the child. German social welfare system also does not recognize reunification, deferring rather to denial of access in the event a child has been brainwashed or “Germanized” as seen in many of the Lebensborn cases.
"Their view of the child's welfare is such -- and it's so distorted -- that there's no way they can conceive of a child ever being better off in any country outside of Germany," Feinerman said. [Law professor]. (CNN, 2000).
The Child Victims
The effects of the Lebensborn program are evident more than half a century later as the children that were products of this program, defined in the Nuremberg Trails as crimes against humanity, struggle for identity. Several groups exist in Europe for Lebensborn children to cope with the decades of uncertainty and their search for identity.
“The personal histories of the children of Lebensborn who ended up in East Germany were hidden for decades by the authorities of that postwar Communist state. .. says Wilhelm Lenz, head of the department for documents from the Third Reich. "Until recently, many didn't know or suspect they were Lebensborn children." (Williams, 2000).
"Before the change (in 1989), no one ever talked about the past," says Harzendorf, who still lives barely half a mile from the orphanage. "All my foster mother ever told me was that I didn't have any parents anymore and I was coming to live with her. She was a good person and would never have imagined such things (as Lebensborn) ever existed." (Williams, 2000).
“After the war, many of the Lebensborn children grew up scorned as Nazi progeny and tormented by dark uncertainties about their origins." (Hammer, 2000).
“Having rejected our origins, we have ended up as refugees in our own country. The result is that most of us don't know other NS children but our own brothers and sisters. .. we NS children have fought a battle lasting forty-five years more than our parents' war. This one lasted only five years. We have been in continuous struggle with society, with our parents and with ourselves." (Klüwer , 2000).
Lebensborn: State Ordered International Child Abduction
The encouragement of producing Aryan children lead to the lebensborn program. This program not only encouraged Aryan women to have children, but also rewarded those efforts through economic incentive. Lebensborn homes were set up in Germany and occupied countries for the benefit of Aryan mothers to live during their pregnancy and delivery. The demand for children brought with it a change in moral code regarding unwed mothers. Unwed mothers were elevated to the status of the married woman, including the ability to use Mrs. In front of their name. These children were often adopted out or housed in orphanages. Nazi SS men were ordered to father children with Aryan women. It has been suggested by John Hooper, that economic incentives offered to those women prompted some into compliance at a time when the economy was in a disastrous state.
“Though portrayed as a way of getting young Nazi to “, mate for the fatherland”, the Lebensborn project had some characteristics of a welfare scheme for single mothers.” (Hooper, 1999).
While many Aryan children were being conceived and born under the Lebensborn program, authorities were not satisfied with the rate of population increase of Aryan children and expanded the Lebensborn program. Himmler (1943) ordered the international kidnapping of children from those countries they had conquered. In a speech to the SS Group leaders in Poznan, Himmler ordered those children meeting racial qualifications be abducted from families in conquered countries, particularly Poland. These children were placed with German families in Germany.
“Such good blood of our own kind as there may be among the nations we shall acquire for ourselves, if necessary by taking away the children and bringing them up among us.” (Himmler, Oct ,1943)
The children abducted under the policy and programs of the Third Reich, specifically the SS, fell under the Lebensborn program. The Intent was to “Germanize” these abducted children. German authorities believed that younger children would acclimate easier than did older children. As such, age limits were discussed in regards to those children that should be kidnapped.
“Dear comrade Brandt, Concerning the matter "children of executed Czechs" I wish to reply to your letter as directed to SS-Lieutenant General Frank, date 6 February of this year, diary index No. 26/2/44 g Bra/H, that the conversation between SS-Lieutenant General Frank and SS Colonel Sollmann took place on 2 July of last year in Prague. Colonel Sollmann stated during this conversation that racially valuable children up to six years would be considered eligible by the "Lebensborn"... It was intended, to have children up to six years and suitable for Germanization brought into German families through the "Lebensborn"... It is intended to have the racially acceptable elements of the collectively housed children transferred through the "Lebensborn" to German families or to a children's home whereas the children over 16 years are to be sent to a concentration camp. “ (the Minister of State for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, 1944).
Abducted children taken into the Lebensborn program were systematically “Germanized” by programming [brainwashing] the child into what the authorities expected him or her to be. Names were changed and they were encouraged not to speak any language other than German. The children were not allowed to contact their families and were often told that their families no longer existed or that their families did not want them.
“Thousands of children were transferred to the "Lebensborn" centers in order to be "Germanized". In these centers, everything was done to force the children to reject and forget their birth parents. As an example, the SS nurses tried to persuade the children that they were deliberately abandoned by their parents. The children who refused the Nazi education were often beaten.” (JSOURCE, 2000).
While the Actual numbers of children internationally abducted through the Lebensobrn program are unknown, estimates reach as high as a quarter of a million. Ironically, even after Europe was liberated, many German families refused to return the kidnapped children to their families, citing they were too ‘Germanized” to return.

Through Operation FALCON (“Federal And Local Cops Organized Nationally”), which was conducted April 4–10, 2005, Deputy U.S. Marshals and their law enforcement partners arrested a total of 10,340 fugitives and cleared more than 13,800 felony warrants.
“Operation FALCON is an excellent example of President Bush’s direction and the Justice Department’s dedication to deal both with the terrorist threat and traditional violent crime,” said Attorney General Gonzales. “This joint effort shows the commitment of our federal, state, and local partners to make our neighborhoods safer, and it has led to the highest number of arrests ever recorded for a single initiative of its kind. We will use all of our Nation’s law enforcement resources to serve the people, to pursue justice, and to make our streets and Nation safer.”
“This operation, which produced the largest number of arrests ever recorded during a single initiative, would not have been possible without the cooperation of our law enforcement partners on the federal, state, and local levels,” said Director Reyna. “Working together, we were able to take more than 10,000 fugitives off the streets, making our communities safer for everyone.”
Nearly 960 federal, state, and local agencies helped the USMS identify thousands of the nation’s most dangerous fugitives during Operation FALCON. The Marshals Service’s five regional fugitive task forces and three foreign field offices joined forces with their counterparts to put more than 3,000 law enforcement officers on the street during each day of the operation. The members of the task force prioritized for arrest those involved in homicides, sexual assaults, gang-related crimes, kidnappings, major drug offenses, crimes against children and the elderly, and unregistered sex offenders.
Operation FALCON task force members sought foreign fugitives believed to be in the United States, handled cases referred by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and received support from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) at the Department of Justice. INTERPOL and the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service assisted in the investigations of persons wanted by law enforcement worldwide. Sixteen foreign and international fugitives who were arrested during Operation FALCON now face deportation or extradition proceedings.
One such fugitive arrested through Operation FALCON is a Connecticut man who was wanted in Hartford for murder and assault after shooting three individuals. While the Marshals Service, the Hartford Police Department, the Connecticut State Police, and the Connecticut Department of Probation actively pursued their investigation, the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement determined that the man had fled to Jamaica, where he had relatives. Leads were forwarded to the USMS foreign field office in Kingston, Jamaica, where Deputy U.S. Marshals, working in coordination with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, located him at his mother’s residence. The man is now being detained pending extradition.
“I applaud the achievements of every Deputy Marshal, police officer, detective, trooper, investigator, deputy sheriff, and special agent who hit the street virtually around-the-clock for seven days,” said Robert J. Finan II, the Marshals Service’s Assistant Director for Investigative Services. “Also of note is that during the course of this initiative, there were no serious incidents or serious injuries to either law enforcement officers or those who were taken into custody.”
Operation FALCON coincided with the beginning of the U.S. Department of Justice’s “National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.” During his remarks announcing the results of Operation FALCON, the Attorney General praised the efforts of the participating agencies, noting that targeting violent fugitives provides justice for the victims of those crimes and ensures safer communities. “By taking violent fugitives off the streets and putting them behind bars where they belong,” said Attorney General Gonzales, “we’ve honored the victims and made our streets safer.”

Hey CJ -- Looks like we got more in common than I thought. Me too, that age thing, except I'm looking to be around for at least 100 (or more) years myself. I would like that to be truly pleasant years. Only one way that's gonna happen is this nightmare goes away and we that are awake take charge and band together. I also have concerns regarding my own children (4 adult, fully grown, still asleep no matter how much I prod and push -- well, that's not entirely true, they are awake, just not wanting to fully accept like most people. That's the kind of thing that led us to this mess, I'm sure of it.

Marjorie, an estimated 195,000 died to potentially preventable hospital accidents in the USA in 2001, 2002, and 2003.. I was glad to get out! I too depend and rely on vitamans and herb supplements for health and only in the last year have I had to depend on blood pressure medicine. I've gotten lazy, drink a little to much, and just don't eat right, exercise as a much... though I still walk alot, do chi-gong, and weight lift. Medicine has always been a last resort for me.
As far as vaccinations, I believe our decider has promised to veto a bill which would disallow mercury in vaccines, and we all know who's hand is in the pharmaceutical industry.

I just watched nearly four (4) hours of the continuing GONZALES (Justice) hearing // the man should resign immediately.
He refused to be clear in a repeated question by Senator Shummer (D-NY) IF HE (Gonzales) was instructed by White House (BUSH/CHENEY) to go to the hospital bedside of then Attorney General John Ashcroft for the purpose of seeking wire tap blessings. He refused to answer, instead giving a reply that did not answer -- which itself was an answer, in my opinion. The Senator, too, I'm sure.
He needs to resign. There is so much more // the man still supports torture, clarifies by saying certain things must be but then avoids direct questioning. That stuff about the political involvment in firing attorneys -- get rid of this guy, he's just an enabler to making corrupt plans a reality.
BRZEZINSKI: "A TERRORIST ACT IN THE US BLAMED ON IRAN"
The Democratic Party Congressional leadership has known all about Cheney's plans for six months or more, as can be shown from the public record. On February 1, 2007, Zbigniew Brzezinski warned the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of ongoing machinations designed to procure war with Iran and beyond: "A plausible scenario for a military collision with Iran involves Iraqi failure to meet the benchmarks, followed by accusations of Iranian responsibility for the failure; then by some provocation in Iraq or a terrorist act in the US blamed on Iran; culminating in a 'defensive' US action against Iran that plunges a lonely America into a spreading and deepening quagmire eventually ranging across Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan." Over the past half year, events have followed Brzezinski's scenario closely. Blaming Iran for the missed benchmarks in Iraq is now the daily stock in trade of the Bush administration and the US Central Command, who whine continuously about Iranian interference in Iraq. There have been several military provocations in Iraq which the US has tried to pin on Iran, most notably March 23, 2007 incident involving 15 British Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel who were taken into custody by the Iranians. This incident was a part of Cheney's winter-spring war drive, which peaked with two US B-1 bombers deliberately violating Iranian airspace over the city of Abadan in oil-rich Khuzestan province on March 31. This crisis was defused by a mobilization of persons of good will around the world, with Russian President Putin and the RIA-Novosti news agency playing a critical role. In particular, a pointed March 28 warning from Putin to Bush about attacking Iran created enough uncertainty in Washington about how Moscow might respond to nuclear aggression against Iran so that cooler heads than Cheney's prevailed.
In the late winter, Pelosi, House Majority Leader Stenny Hoyer and Reid had bowed to the demands of AIPAC, the subversive pro-Israeli lobbying organization whose employees have been implicated in espionage, and removed from the defense bill a provision warning Bush that he was required to consult Congress before attacking Iran. A similar provision pushed for a while by Senator Webb of Virginia has also disappeared from view. As for the Republican presidential candidates, on June 7 they with the solitary exception of maverick Ron Paul outbid one another in enthusiasm for a nuclear attack on Iran. These ultra-Hitlerian outbursts occurred in response to manipulation by Wolf Blitzer, an obvious asset of the war party. For the good of the American people, the warmonger GOP candidates, along with Blitzer, should have been hauled away at once in a net by burly orderlies in white coats.
We need cheaper health care in this country if not a form of national health care.

Hopefully I can stay well because I don't feel I can completely trust medical doctors and hospitals anymore. I like the naturepathic method.
I was dutiful and followed their advice and took my son to them for all his vaccination shots, and now he has full-blown autism. If I hadn't taken him to the doctors, he wouldn't have autism now. They may not have meant to harm him but they did. That's the crux of the matter.
I study hard to figure out what foods and supplements help his body to function at an optimum level. So far so good! And my son has a really fine (tall and lean) healthy body because of the good eating and good supplements and vitamins he has taken over the years; and I would not accept his picky eating when he was younger (as most autistic children are realy picky eaters and have health problems as a result).
I just remember Bob Salter who was a talk show host in SL back in the 80's and he was probably one of the first to be onto the skum taking over our country; and he talked about it on his radio program often. And he went on vacation to Southern Utah and got sick and had to be taken to the hospital. And they (knowing who he was) beat him with rubber hoses and tortured him (you just can't know where they all are) until he paid them off and promised not to tell anyone if they would just let him go.
When he got back on the air, he could barely speak and was really sick (and he did die not to long after that). But he told what they did to him (the whole story) because that's the fighting spirit he had in him, right to the end.
To me, I would feel so vulnerable when in their care. They can shoot anything they want into your body and they make plenty of mistakes and lots of people die as a result. It's kinda like playing Russian Roulette, especially if you make yourself and your opinions known like Bob Salter did.

With all this talk about the health care system namely with new film Sicko, by Michael Moore, here's my own health care story. I admitted myself into the emergency room about 2 months ago thinking I may be having the beginnings of either a stroke or heart attack. Admitted and kept overnight and tests ran the next day, all my heart came back negative except the old high blood pressure, high cholestrol, and high heart enzymes (which is why they kept me overnight. ) I did stay in the emergency room for 7 hrs, since there was no beds availible in the hospital but when I did get a room it was private and everyone on the staff were great. Wonderful people.
Well i'm back on my meds and doing good but recently have begun getting the invoices of the costs to my insurance company. The latest revealed the hospital stay cost approxiomately $16,000. Yes, $16,000 for a day's stay in the cardiac care unit. Moral of the story. My insurance is paying 100% of the costs and i'm good to go, but if you don't have health care insurance you are going to be paying huge bills off, if you ever have surgery, or even tests ran.
We need cheaper health care in this country if not a form of national health care.

All attempts at disposing of the evidence at the WTC (i.e., the steadfast removal of WTC steel, shipped overseas at protest of ignored 9/11 families) SHOWS UP in the dust, of all places. The same dust that has subsequently been responsible for even more deaths and illness as a result of the initial clean up efforts.

have been reading the seemingly endless pages of information for a while now. Some of the entries have provided interesting and even some useful stuff. I am not one who enjoys sitting and watching very much so you need to take what i say from that perspective.
I believe that some of you who spend time posting have hearts of passion for the cause of truth and would like to do more than just talk about it. But most of what i have read over and over again tells me that most of you just want to talk about it. in some ways it reminds me of some churches i have attended over the years. for the most part most of them want to stay in the box and just talk about it or preach about it to others who just want to think about it.
Why dont you get out from in front of your computers and go DO what you are able to stem the tide of evil that is going on around you. If you really want to DO something, why not join a Ron Paul meetup and get busy changing the system that allows the kind of evil you love to talk about. Or hit the streets with and hand out DVDs on 911. Or find a local church that is doing something rather than just talking about it. then the next time you come on the board you can tell us what you have done rather than what you know. If the shoe fits etc. You can be sure the evil bastards you are talking about are doing more than just talking about it.
