You should see a doctor SoG. You can't be sure it's conjunctivitis. May just be a lot of sleepy cack brought on by your concerted effort on Tuesday !

It's just the cold virus I caught in Switzerland, too. Conjunctivitis, then followed by the worst sore throat I ever had. It was so strong that I got ear aches from it.
And like you, I never had conjunctivitis before.
Must have been a specific version of the virus.
