This is an encouraging development. It seems too good to be true that Republican Senators would go along with it. Maybe Republicans are getting tired of going along with corporate/defense industry tyranny in lock-step against the best interests of the American people. I can dream.
It would be nice to re-instate the rule that one company can only own up to eight radio stations in one locality. I can't believe Clinton let this one happen. I guess he really was hobbled by the Lewinski thing. If Clear Channel didn't own 80% of the good frequencies in my market, we probably would still have a liberal voice. As it is, I just wonder what fair-minded maniac at Clear Channel was responsible for the three years we did have KLSD 1360.
