McCain sucks. I will probably bring a gas mask to the voting booth in November. Holding my nose just won't do. I think those people that voted against him probably feel the same way I do. Most of them are conservatives who think he isn't conservative enough, not exactly potential Obama voters. Now that 1/3 of Clinton voters who said they wouldn't vote for Obama, now that is a different story.

Since I haven't read or seen it anywhere, can we assume that both Obama and Clinton took in many more votes than McCain last night?
And how are the Dems who've dropped out but still on the ballot drawing?
I wish Chris "Man Crush" Matthews would tell me how he feels about it.

I think most of those voters will come around in the end, but I do worry that the longer this primary drags on, the more calcified some of these voters will become.

It appears they aren't on the ballots anymore. In North Carolina, "No Preference" got 1%. Indiana didn't list anything except the two Dem candidates.
At least, that's the nearest I can tell looking at the CNN coverage. Maybe someone has a better resource.

Yes, but don't those "one-third of Clinton voters who wouldn't vote for Obama" include all the Republicans who voted for her to make trouble? It's not as if they're going to vote for Clinton in the general, either.

ThresherK, if you click on the Indiana & NC links, you'll see CNN's totals. Pretty serious differences.
I'm hoping come November a lot of Repubs will be so discouraged they just don't go to the booth.

Timmy B,
I was being hypothetical about the impression by just glancing at the paper in the coinbox or CNN Headline News while waiting at the bank.
I'm on a hunt for actual "something, anything, is good for the Democrats" coverage.

Glen, I suggest you write in yourself as a form of civil disobedient protest.

I don't believe that there is any animosity whatsoever towards either Hillary or Barack from the true believers. We support HRC or BHO because they reflect some of the most important core values that we feel. I have never bought into the idea that a good fight is tearing the Democratic party apart. On the contrary, it seems much more living and viable the Republican party.
