good grief. john mccain was the bottom of his gradusting class at the academy and was a little too happy-go-lucky as a pilot. he got his multi-million dollar plane shot out of the sky and then he spent the next few years being slammed around in a Hanoi prison. it's admitrable that he stood it as well as he did but his service didn't qualify him to be president.

SoBeale - sorry to hear about the death in your family. Hope you are okay.
Just thought you might find this funny - George Bush's visual aid to remembering that North Korea is no longer on the Axis of Evil. (Yes, I'm currently unemployed. LOL)

Yes, McCain's cronies knowingly distorted Clark's remarks leaving out the context that he was answering a question. Similarly, Webb last week knowingly distorted McCain's remarks claiming that the military should be kept out of politics despite the fact that his own campaign was entirely about his military experience.
No campaign that makes it this far is immune from hypocrisy. We have two candidates who claim to represent a "different" style of politics doing what politicians do.

Great post! Because...
1. You're spot on, as usual. In fact, I was disappointed when Obama distanced himself from the Rev. Wright. I wish he had gone after the Wright-bashers instead, who I feel is a pretty stand-up guy. Certainly the same for the General.
2. I love Galaxy Quest!
