Gotta say you won't find the large majority of men giving a crap about the way McCain spends his wife's money. Envy, yes. Outrage? Not a chance. And when all the dust settles about the number of houses, this is a very weak point to attack a senile old warmonger.
Racist supporters, redneck comments from his staff and media flacks... most white guys don't have a significantly negative reaction to this either. And the rednecks won't ever change because somebody calls them a redneck. They'll just grab another longnecker.
I'd go for the medical records -- he's falling apart and they're hiding it.
But really IMHO its all gonna come down to Obama getting out the vote and overwhelming the reactionaries in the USA.

SB - did you do a similar post profiling the Edward's housing complex while he was campaigning on helping the poor and saving the environment?

Don't see how that's relevant, Jim. Edwards wasn't going around calling his opposition "elitist" and "out of touch" and "limousine liberals" and "not like regular American folks" like the Republicans do. They're the ones who keep saying being wealthy is a bad thing, when they're the wealthiest, elitist bunch on the block.
Edwards never said being wealthy was a bad thing. Edwards said that the American dream was leaving a whole bunch of folks behind. And he's right. After decades of Republican support-the-rich/condemn the poor policies, we have a country where working your way out of poverty is even harder than before. And when we do get a candidate who embodies the American dream -- someone who was raised by a single mom, who went to school on scholarship -- he's portrayed by the right as "elitist." Neat trick but only brain-dead Kool-aid drinkers will buy it.
Chumps.
