This smells a lot like the politicization of the federal judicial system under Fredo. They let him take the fall, but the same cronyism continues. I think maybe Justice is blind because the Bush administration has gouged her eyes out.
There is little that is more inherently evil than corrupting the courts themselves. What recourse do the citizens have? Private prisons = Super dickheads. Couldn't be worse.
I guess filibustering is back on the table now that the GOP is on the ropes. No confirmation.
