I wouldn't worry about it. I mean, if this is for the metro, it could just as easily be a friend-of-a-friend thing to get around their stupid rules. And I think as long as you continue to make your photos available to the band for nothing more than "recognition" you can continue to count yourself as "amateur" for a while longer.

also, as long as you continue to surprise folks, say, with super close-shots with a really bright flash, say, in a really dark bar, i think you can also add "guerilla" to "amateur" and "phtography."
