Yeah, a lot of sites aren't 100% compatible with Firefox, at least not yet. I hope that will change as Firefox becomes more popular. It's my preferred browser - I like the tabbed browsing, the popup stopper, the clean interface and other features - but I still have to switch over to IE more often than I'd like to. Bleah.

I started having trouble with Safari a few months ago, so I switched over to Firefox and haven't looked back. I've had no trouble accessing my own Movable Type interfaces with Firefox. Don't know how different that is from Blogger, though.

Oh - and check the Firefox extensions, there might something there that you can use with Blogger (I'm not familiar with Blogger, so I can't say for sure).

thanks for all the suggestions! the blogger thing turned out to be javascript settings (of course - grr).

i tried several of the suggestions for safari, fuzzy, and it's still just as slow. what those articles do tell me, though, is that this is quite common to safari, which drives me toward firefox that much more.
