Gravatar Oh, Kathy, it's fanTABulous! I'm amazed how quickly you finished the edging. Your sister is going to be so moved by all the care and love that went into this lovely gift. Well done!

Gravatar wow! Kathy that really came out gorgeous.

and you got it done with lots of time to spare.

Gravatar Wow, Kathy, that is gorgeous. Talk about an incredible gift. Wow! Beautiful!!

Gravatar Wow, Kathy. I'm REALLY impressed. I know who to write to for lace encouragement now!

Gravatar Kathy, that is soooooo beautiful! Just gorgeous. What a wonderful gift for your sister. Loved the picture on the chair, too. (I got a little teary, there.)

Gravatar That is one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen. You are a very generous sister!

Gravatar Your sister is one lucky girl. Maybe one day I'll be able to knit something so beautiful (SIGH). Must practice more!

Gravatar Its absolutely stunning! Congratulations.

Gravatar Oh that is so beautiful! (Not just the story, but the shawl as well!)

The Navajo say that mistakes in weaving (and I like to include my knitting) are the doorways that Spider Woman uses to enter the object so she can inspect the purity of the maker's heart. I think mistakes make a hand-made project even more special.

Gravatar Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A labor of love for your sister.

Gravatar WHOA NELLY! What a beauty! It is absolutely great in the pics, and I can imagine how fantastic it is in person. A genuine heirloom! Take a bow, kiddo!

Gravatar Kathy, wow! That is simply gorgeous.

Gravatar A lovely gift, from the hands and the heart both --

Gravatar Brava!!

Gravatar Beautiful. What patience to do that. You are a wonderful sister. Tell us what your sister thinks.

Gravatar Your sister is so lucky to have you! She's going to love it. Great job.

Gravatar Gee. I'm disappointed. I got out my microscope and studied the photos for hours and didn't see a single "mistake." Ha, ha!
Your hair looks stunning, too! Still doin' the "no shampoo" thing?

Gravatar That is gorgeous, Kathy! A work of art! Lucky sister, indeed!
And, if I might add, your HAIR is looking FAB!
:D

Gravatar Wow! I'm speechless! That is absolutely amazing and on time! Beautiful!

Gravatar Wow, indeed! That is just spectacular. Great job!

Gravatar Hi Kathy,
I found your site while surfing and fell in love with your shawl. I'm new to lace and would love to knit this pattern for a christening shawl for my daughter. It will be our first and last since this was really a miracle! I have Sharon's book but am no way able to figure all the math needed to accomplish the yarn size difference. In fact, I don't think I would have known that I would have to change the pattern to compensate for yarn size difference. Would you be willing to share your math calculations? Also how much Zepyphr did you use? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Carol
