I just love that purse--so beautiful and special! Once I dig out my sewing machine I hope to make some similar creations this fall. Inspiring! Hope the wedding is fabulous in every way.

Luvin' all the family connections: great-grandma's chair, grandma's dress, the shawlf from sister-to-sister for a baby yet to come. Good stuff!
I know you won't get this until your return, but from the pics I don't think that's a pin. I collect vintage jewellry, and if it has a sort of hinged clasp like it looks in the pictures, it's actually a fur clip; meant to be worn on those mink stoles with the heads and tails still on. I know, I know; ewwww! It looks like it might be of some value, especially if it has any markings on it. Even vintage costume jewellry can be pretty valuable; I have some pieces valued at several hundred $ each.

I hope you're having a great time. It's so cool that you made your boys' ties. I haven't done that yet, but I will. The bag and dress look fabulous!

Ooo...love the purse, and I'm really not the purse-carrying-type.
On Saturday, I bought 3 extremely elegant dresses from a woman here in Corvallis...she was selling her custom-made BRIDESMAIDS dresses for only $5 each! Well, the price was $25, but I came at the right time and told her about my daughter who will be a senior this year. Anyway, I'll photograph them and put them on my blog sometime soon. Hope you can check them out! Your red dress is absolutely LOVELY!
