I'm shocked that you could be surprised to have made an impact on someone's life. You've definitely made one on mine. Yeah, I know. We probably got to know each other a little better than you got to know this young Patrick. But I don't think it took you much longer to make an impact in my life than it did in his.
You're what I would call a "quality" guy, more than a "quantity" guy. With you, my time was never quite extensive, more spurt-ish, but the quality of said time was priceless. THAT is why I can so easily see you being such a great missionary and an equally amazing Pastor. You have a calming influence. And I love you for that.
