with those prayers, you have to release them. last night, i woke with a fear in my heart that before has kept me awake for hours and ruined my days. last night, instead, i lifted my hands above my bed and released that fear into the presence of the God who alone can absorb it, and my prayers, without loss.
L'Engle & Buechner are two of my pastor up in Seattle, Earl Palmer's, favorite authors. I started reading THE SACRED JOURNEY and never finished; and, I've never gotten to L'Engle. I'm missing out, eh? One of these days... A WRINKLE IN TIME and finishing THE SACRED JOURNEY are both on my list.
