Hey man, great post. I love the sincerety and the honesty. I understand your feeling of pride and arrogance. I know God has to begin cleaning that out before we can be used the way He wants us to be used.
At the same time, I just want to be honest with you as well. I sense the same thing in you that you do. I sense that you weren't meant to say "home." You were meant to go. The gifts you have are perfect for building relationships in a new place. That new place may be Addis or Waco, Baltimore or San Francisco.
I don't write this lightly. I know God has you where he has you right now for a reason. But I too, just as you do, don't feel that it will be your final resting place.
