Corrolary to the rule is that "I won't be blogging" posts are ok for extended leaves of absences (say 72+ hours). Especially if the blogger is normally a daily poster. Keeps the regulars from worrying.

And for heaven's sake, keep SpearDaughter away from Bad Example until she's 17
