I'm with you 100%. Like you, if I was Felipe, I'd go ahead and xerox 162 lineup cards today, and each one would have loveable ol' BB in the 2 hole. The only way he gets out of that is by not playing or by explaining to the media how he misspoke, and how misguided he'd been to second-guess his manager. Realistically, I understand that that has as much chance of happening as does my making out the lineup card, but the world would be a better place if a manager could actually stand up to a player bully.

The only question is: can one be nostalgic for times before their birth?


Gravatar The Giants picked up the 2006 Bonds option way back in 2004, while he was on his way to winning the MVP award, so while I understand your frustration, it's not exactly a recent decision.
