wouldnt torre want to alternate hard throwers versus finesse throwers to keep the opponent off balance? i'm thinking something like:

unit
moose
wang
lidle

just throwing it out there, no idea if this makes any sense.

I'd rather set up my rotation so my best pitchers go against the best teams. Hence juggling it so Moose, Randy, and Wang go against Chicago.

Same principle for the Boston series. Why start Ponson when you can start him against the Orioles, a much shittier team? Admittedly, I think I fucked up the rotation there and put someone on 3 days rest. But you can just plug that hole with Ponson again.
