Naah ... won't happen (the vote for a Democrat part).
If Obama votes for that bill, he lost my vote. If I won't vote for a white tyrant, why would I vote for a black tyrant?
The answer is I won't.
I had big hopes for the guy, but it's pretty clear he is a DLC shill.
With respect to "stomping feet", what I prefer to see happen is to get Hoyer and Pelosi replaced. They are in the minority in their party and the majority chooses the leaders and they have plenty of eager ambitious other Democrats who want their job.
We need some of the younger visionary not-corrupted yet Democrats in leadership positions. It's time to clean out the trash.
I also take issue with your characterization of being against spying of U.S. citizens without probable cause as being a "far left" issue.
Is Bob Barr (Former Republican) "far left" do you think?
I'm a moderate and I don't think the government should be spying on anyone without probable cause ... Internet or no Internet.
I think Hoyer is going to lose his job in this case and I hope we can take Pelosi out right along with him. They aren't in the majority of the party on this issue and the majority decides the leaders.

It's worth it to read Politico's take on it:
"Hoyer said that if House Democratic leaders failed to reach a FISA deal with the White House and GOP leaders, as many as “30 Blue Dogs and another 20 to 30 members” could have signed onto a Republican discharge petition calling for a floor vote on the Senate version of the FISA bill, which was even more anathema to House Democrats than what eventually passed."
If anyone should be tarred & feathered, it should to be the traitorous Blue Dogs.
