Cassie - you hit the nail on the head. The senators deluded themselves into thinking that We, the People are lame in the brain. WRONG. The People never lay down their swords to the enemy, whether he's in Iraq or on Capitol Hill. The Republican Party can only grow stronger after this victory.

It's about time.I still feel that they all should read our Constitution, DOI, and anything else.

I have a strong feeling that the People have a momentum going with this victory. Our strength in numbers worked, and that's why the senators are so stymied; they completely underestimated our influence. If we want it badly enough, the People CAN take back control away from the dunderheads in this "new" Congress.

Thanks Cassie and Lily I agree, if the people feel strongly enough to impart to the politicians that they are committing political suicide by slapping us in the face, then our power is in knowing WE control the next election,

As a republic that is our only power, but used wisely and not overused and it can be VERY powerful.

I agree Spree & Lily.
I really lost my spirit with this. All the things that I was taught in school and upheld seemed to be going away.
I still feel there should be term limits for congress. It seems that when they're in for a certain legth of time they lose focus.
We are a Country of laws and NO one should be above them.
