Great article. My husband is active duty Army and an Operation Iraqi Freedom vet. We speak frequently with friends there who urge us to not give up on them.
I'm voting for this article at Real Clear Politics.
Good job!

Thank you very much. My part one riled some folks up but the hell with them if they cannot handle the fact that there are some good things coming from this war.

Well written. Unfortunately there is so much blind hatred towards America that as you highlight, many on the left would rather see chaos in Iraq than success. Too many people take freedom for granted nowadays.

yes they do, and more importantly in my mind, they do not understand that just as many of us have to learn to walk when we are little, the Iraqi's have to "learn" what freedom means. For the Far left media and the Democratic party to ignore this and pretend that since we gave them freedom from saddam, now they should just be able to handle it, is naive and disingenuous (hope I spelled that right) at best. It should be expected that they need help learning amid the chaos that al-qaeda started. In a previous post, I post a letter from al-qaeda stating outright that they would attack one religious group, to start a war between religious groups to create a civil war in Iraq. They did, and we are dealing with it, and those that cannot understand or deliberately won't because it is "election season" need their asses kicked.
Thanks for your comment.
