Too bad Kerry can't be as consistent as this guy:

''I'm here to tell you we're going to stay the course.'' -- George W. Bush, Nov. 28, 2003

``. . . We've got to stay the course, and we will stay the course . . .'' -- George W. Bush, April 5, 2004

''The United States of America will stay the course . . .'' -- George W. Bush, Nov. 21, 2004

''We will stay the course; we will complete the job in Iraq.'' -- George W. Bush, Aug. 4, 2005

''We will stay the course; we will help this young Iraqi democracy succeed.'' -- George W. Bush, Aug. 31, 2006

``Listen, we've never been stay the course . . .'' -- George W. Bush, Oct. 22, 2006

Don't let your partisanship blind you.

Gravatar Actually if you had READ the piece before responding you would have seen KERRY first talked about staying the course.

Speech made on Senate Floor before the War in Iraq, Oct. 9, 2002- If in the end these efforts fail, and if in the end we are at war, we will have an obligation, ultimately, to the Iraqi people with whom we are not at war. This is a war against a regime, mostly one man. So other nations in the region and all of us will need to help create an Iraq that is a place and a force for stability and openness in the region. That effort is going to be long term, costly, and not without difficulty, given Iraq's ethnic and religious divisions and history of domestic turbulence. In Afghanistan, the administration has given more lipservice than resources to the rebuilding effort. We cannot allow that to happen in Iraq, and we must be prepared to stay the course over however many years it takes to do it right.

Bush has been consistent, Kerry and the Democrats have never been. They cannot even agree on what their plan would be. At least Bushes plan is to win... not lose like the cut and run party.

Thanks for stopping by

Gravatar Actually, if you had READ my comment, you wouldn't have commented that Bush has been consistent.

Read the quotes again...stay the course..stay the course etc etc etc...now it's "listen we've never been stay the course"

That's your definition of consistency huh. It also points out the obvious, that Bush is a liar.

Gravatar I love how you people twist things, it is quite amusing. Has he said we are pulling out? NO. He IS staying the course, he is simply not using that term anymore. He stays consistent in his determination to win. He stays consistent in his support for the troops. He stays consistent in his demand to give our soldiers and military commanders everything they need, when they need it.

Unlike the left and people like you that would prefer to have our soldiers deaths be in vain. Unlike the Democrats that vote aganst anything that they soldiers need to win the war on terror. Unlike the left media that refuses to tell the whole story and only focuses on the bad.

The president stays consistent, the left cannot even agree with each other.
