Actually, the idea isn't that far fetched. India and Pakistan are two countries, one people, seperated by religions: Islam and Hindi.

shrugs... just seemed ironic to me that one country has a sunni pm and is being threatened by shiites and another country has a shiite pm and the sunni and shiite factions cannot coexist. So hell, why not just separate them. Problem solved, until the next one pops up. LOL
