Personally this has been a complete disaster this week for Obama.
Joe Biden's "taxes are patriotic" is yet another knife in the heart of the Dems. That right there just cost Obama Pennsylvania and Ohio. 100% guaranteed.
Forget the polls showing Obama being close. He's not. The new round of state polls next week will almost certainly show McCain with a huge lead in states like Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, and Colorado.

Yeah and don't forget Biden saying in Ohio that Ohio State would get their asses kicked. The man is a walking talking gaffe machine.

I'm from Illinois,that deep blue state and Obama country.The state is in a finacial mess ( & talking tax increase),Cook County where I reside is raising property taxes again,and the city of Chicago now has the distinction of having the highest tax rate in the Country.
So I'm surmising that the governing Dems here won't raise taxes until after the election!
Some states have good policies encouraging job growth .( eg. Texas & Florida). I read where Illinois is fast becoming a state where job growth is stagnate!
