" Obama as the champion, that he is, for minorities, will do his very best to get them to take better and better jobs.
I wonder if one of those jobs they take, will be my very own. Who then will be my champion?"

Anyone else remember this:
"Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed." -- Michelle Obama

Obama +7 utilizing a model actually representative of the registration and likely voting patterns for THIS YEAR'S ELECTION. This isn't 2004 - and cherry-picking only the results more favorable to your candidate make you look like a Republican stooge.

I've been following the IBD TIPP POLL. I heard all the reports on the latest polls on TV this morning -- didn't hear this Gallup report on likely voters.
I too believe this race is much closer than the Liberal media wants us to believe.
If this ends up as close as the 2000 election, or even closer, I'm concerned about how folks will respond on the losing side, particularly Obamaites.

NT, read again, likely voter models are used representing the likely voting habits proven. TIPP confirms these numbers and they were shown to be the most accurate in previous elections.
Looks to me like you are the one trying to cherry pick by assuming history teaches us nothing and prior voting habits shouldn't be considered.
Nice try but no go, but you continue to believe what the media tells you to, we prefer to think independently and we DO listen to the lessons history teaches us.
Obviously you don't study history much, no biggie, i didn't think people like you would.

I don't know Debbie, but I hope that is something we do get to see. I am beginning to think the recent media "observations" about Obama is because they realize the people have their number and aren't willing to be led like sheep to the slaughter.
Beth, I remember it well.

They may not be paying attention to the PUMA'S and those like them, so here is some welcome news from Democrats that are paying attention to Democrats for McCain.

Susan - Why are we to believe that one poll is the truly accurate poll? Maybe it is, but you're expecting us to ignore the numerous others that show Obama with a good lead.
Also, take a look at the rallies each side has - whose drawing more people? To me, THAT is a strong indicator of what's going on...

AD, I look at the Demographics of the polls, then choose accordingly. You may want to try it sometimes, this is why some polls are more accurate historically while others try to excuse and justify their failures after the fact.

Susan, if the far left studied history they would have learned that communism failed, Che Guevara was a mass-murderer and Obama is an empty suit.
The MSM created an atmosphere where people are afraid to admit that they are voting for McCain, not because they are closet-racists but because they are afraid to end up like Joe The Plumber.
This is not the Bradley Effect, it’s the Orwell Effect. I guess McCarthyism is ok as long as it serves the leftists agenda.

Gallop +2
Rasmussen +4
Battleground +3
IBD/TIPP +3 (9% undecided)
The undecideds are mostly voters who will not lie, but afraid to admit they do not support obama.
The Obama support from Democrat cannot be as high as the polls show. Perhaps in liberal states, but not in Clinton states such as Ohio and PA.
Obama is in PA today because that is where he will lose the election. Palin is in PA to win the election.

Amazing how all the polls are starting to get closer to those we mentioned, yet people close their eyes and refuse to acknowledge it. Thanks Geevil, feel free to post the links to.

ALL the polls get closer? geevil selected thos which fit this wish. Here are three others published today which he didn't mention
Rasmussen Reports Obama +5
Gallup (Expanded) Obama +7
Diageo/Hotline Obama +8
Accusing others of closing their eyes while looking at the world with a breadboard in front of their heads is very convincing.

acorn and obama are using the same techniques that Hitler and Lenin and, to a certain extent Chavez, used to gain power.
They hire disenfranchised individuals to intimidate people at all levels of society in order to accede to the levers of power of local government first and of the Central government later.
once they gain power they reduce civil liberties to all political enemies, to the press and independent media.
i can see this happening here in the US if Obama wins as it appears to be likely

I would have preferred not to believe that "objective" polling organizations had chosen sides, and had re-engineered their methods to favor their choice, but the huge spread among the polls makes it seem likely that at least some of the pollsters are as much "in the tank" for Obama as are the Mainstream Media.
There is still hope that the GOP can pull this election out. Considering what an unmitigated disaster total Democrat hegemony in Washington would visit upon the country, let's do everything we can to reify that hope.

Exactly Francis which is why it is important to click the links and dig into the demographics, find the polls that show the accurate demographics used in their polling methods, then it is easier to know which polls are deliberately 'skewering" the results.
It isn't hard to look at the cross tabs and the internal statistics. That is only hard for "some" people.

I don't believe in polls! The only count I believe in is on November 4th! Too bad there is a lot of fraud going on in this election. I have family members who refused to answer the poll calls!...How do polls count their vote? They can't!

Yes Miss Beth I do remember that comment. I wonder if he is talking about all the new people he will have to hire to do all the new abortions he is planning. Then again maybe he is wanting people to fill positions in his re-education boot camps...to tell the public how they are all victims and racists.

Thanks a lot for that memory Miss Beth! I can not resist when I say; Michelle Obama is an assuming, elitist, snarling, bow wow! Childish, I know……
Thanks for the encouraging poll news Susan. The media would like for people to believe it is all but over but it appears to be very close.
When I went shopping today there was a sales clerk that kept telling everyone she was checking out what the tax portion of their bill was and then saying “we’ll just take your money and spread the wealth”. It was sales tax…the dingbat! “Spread the wealth” is being applied to all taxes now! I thought it was funny!
The “spread the wealth” concept is obviously not being accepted very well.

Just a reminder to all that put a lot of stock into the polls.
Most of us hard working people living the American dream DO NOT get polled and if we do, we DO NOT have 30 minutes to spend on the phone with some silly pollster based out of NY.
In a little informal poll of my own, I have asked how many of my friends and family have been called by pollsters, and they all say that if they have been called, they politely said they did not have time to answer all the questions.
We must ask ourselves, who is spending all this time with the pollsters... Is it a realistic picture of the typical hard working American?
