I had thought about going to the Olympics but decided not to for political reasons. I can add this as another reason.
We're moving to Korea next month and I was planning a trip to China with my kids. Maybe I shouldn't go after all.

I have many friends (Chinese) in China. I worked there for a year and a half.
The medical was really bad. We usually went to Tokyo or Hong Kong to treat anything other than what we were sure was a common cold.
Our company did business in Korea perhaps 15 years ago and I haven't heard any negative feedback from those who went.
