No one is trading one for the other. But there are also quotes from him and as well as others relating to ignoring the dangers and not protecting yourselves, means you DESERVE to have your ass handed to you.
There is a balance, especially in a time of war and unless you are trying to communicate with terrorists, what do you really care and how will this actually affect YOU???????
