Three important things here:

1) The Moonbat wing of the Democrats are pretty large, but they have far less power than they'll admit to, as shown by this vote. The moonbats are divided from the more moderate wing of the Democrats (meaning the pre-9/11 tax and spend wing, not the post 9/11 hate America wing by a pretty big gulf. It's more obvious than ever that the Democrats will not exist ten years from now, and that the MoveOn.org wing will have split off into a useless third party, or crumbled into nothing. The party has no future as a divided house.

2) All the major Democrat candidates voted against the bill: Hillary, Obama, Biden, and Dodd. WIth the major primaries less than six months off, the Dems avoided political suicide in the early contests only to have committed the same political suicide in November 2008. There is *no conceivable way* that in a general election next year, any of these four candidates won't get *decimated* on this vote. If there is continued improvement in Iraq...and believe me, there will be...the Democrats just lost the election.

3) How scared are the rest of the Dems? DiFi, Jim Webb, Byron Dorgan, Claire McCaskill...all voted to rightfully attack MoveOn.org. But nobody's going to buy that they did for any other reason other than politics.

People just don't comprehend yet how badly the Democrats have messed up. They'll be no doubts after November 2008.

Does anyone here think Henry Waxman will want to investigate THIS outrage, as should be his DUTY to do so?

Of course not. But Democrats don't know much about duty, most of them.
