Ms. Garcia, along with a great many others, should not only lose their jobs, they should be tried for sedition at the least, preferably for treason, and suffer the consequences of their choices.

This woman is a complete idiot, to involve children in this violent mock beating of a law enforcement figure is unforgiveable. These children are looking to adults to show them how to behave and how to succeed in the adult world. This kind of "education" will not get them far.
What she is doing is aiding and abetting illegal aliens. That is against the law. In fact, I would call for her law license to be revoked. You may look into that.
Very well-written article. I looked into "hate crimes" at partnersagainsthate.org, and this site says that a hate crime is a crime "committed against individuals or groups or property based on the real or perceived race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or ethnicity of the victims." Still, if the defining factor is what group a person belongs to, couldn't the definition also be expanded to include military and law enforcement officers? I think there are people out there who would injure people in these groups just based on their group affiliation. What would it take to get the definition expanded? In my opinion, Ms. Garcia has committed a hate crime against a law enforcement officer and should be prosecuted for it.
As a retired law enforcement officer, I am appalled at the very nature of this "woman." Everyone has a right to their opinions and views, however, this should not be viewed any different than an appointed Police Officer of this community wearing a white hood, spewing hate and evil, all the while encouraging youth to beat a Pinata of a vocal black man having a book signing. I would expect and stand behind a public outrage to have that Officer fired! I served with women and men of all races and sexual preference on the department. We were brothers and sisters dedicated to serving this community, knowing our job was an honor and service provided to us by this community. How awful that you call yourself a "woman," " Ms." or" Miss." You have no respect from me. I feel that you have crossed a boundry that no one in your position, let alone as a human, should cross. You think you are helping people?! How can you not be biased in your job? Worst of all, this community just suffered a loss of an outstanding human...who just happened to be white, a man, and a law enforcement officer. I was so extremely proud of Tucson and the community at the funeral and services for Officer Hite. I would hope that the same community would pull together and demand your firing, disbarment, and prosecution. By the way, those who I passed standing along the road waving American flags, saluting Officer Hite's casket, were of every race, creed, color, age, occupation, and gender. Who knows, maybe there were even illegal immigrants among them....doesn't matter, we were all human and humbled at that time. That Garcia, is the true measure of a life, not the hate, but the love we are to share. I did not have the privelage of knowing him, but felt sadness at the loss of such a good, kind human. As for the bookstore you were at, I will no longer spend my hard earned money there as I always have. I may only be one voice, but I will not ever stand by silenced for this kind of disgusting, vile behavior. Did I hear you correctly when you said in the video, "Let's take it to the street?" Thank you Erika--I also posted on Officer Hite's murder and funeral and while I did not know him personally, he did indeed touch the city.
There are many, MANY calling for this woman's job and flooding Huckelberry's office with demands for her job and many complaints being filed with the SBA. There is an updated story here as well--Michelle Malkin has grabbed it and run two posts on it. Hopefully, we will achieve our goal of removing her--and prosecuting her.

Having an Arpaio pinata may have been innappropriate, but lets remember, Sheriff Joe, brings some contraversy on himself. Not all people learn from humility. Pink Undergarments and rancid bologna, and tents in 110 degree heat? Yeah its funny, but this is America, we are better than that!!! Furthermore, 4l Million in Lawsuits of MY FREAKING TAX MONEY. I Paid 37,000 dollars in Taxes last year, and I don't like any of it going to some criminal who sued the county. That just plin pisses me off. I think that Garcia is nuts, but I think Sheriff Joe is too. You can't have it both ways, both of them are worthless, please dump them both.
Rick, Arpaio is like a hero here with over 80 percent approval ratings because he is willing to do his job. He doesn't believe in treating criminals with kid gloves and he shouldn't. He does believe that they should be treated as....yes, criminals and if they do not like wearing pink, as he says "then make sure you don't get arrested again".

1). No one said she couldn't protest.
We are guaranteed rights to peaceable protest, key word being PEACEABLE.
2). No one said she couldn't speak her opinion as guaranteed under the First Amendment.
3). Where the issue comes into play is she CROSSED A LINE--SHE INCITED A RIOT--SHE CONTRIBUTED TO THE DELINQUENCY OF MINORS--HER HOLDING THE PINATA HEAD ALOFT WAS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE PICTURE OF NICK BERG'S BEING HELD ALOFT
4). Arpaio has been sued many times--all unsuccessfully because HE IS ENFORCING THE LAWS ON THE BOOKS AND THE CITIZENS ARE BEHIND HIM.
5). CRIMINALS ARE CRIMINALS--you don't want your tax money going to some criminal who sued the county--DUH--WHAT DO YOU THINK SUPPORTS THE CRIMINALS IN PRISON??? DING, DING, DING--YOUR TAX MONEY. Do you want it spent wisely--treating criminals as criminals--or do you want it giving those criminals a better life in prison than most of enjoy free? THINK, MAN!

"Nation of Immigrants," Raymond? I have no problem with immigration--my family immigrated here at the turn of the 19th century from Ireland. However, when they got to Ellis Island, their names were taken down so that they could be LEGALLY accounted for. Illegal immigration is an entirely different matter. If we don't know who comes in, how can we keep an eye on potentially dangerous criminals, such as the illegal immigrant/prior felon who just killed 3 members of the same family in a road rage incident in San Francisco? Don't think for a minute that international terrorists such as Al Qaeda don't know about our porous border and the welcoming arms of people like Isabel Garcia and Gavin Newsome. What's it going to take for us to WAKE UP--the destruction of an American city by a dirty bomb? What's more, illegal immigration is HARMFUL to those illegals who want to work here, because their "off the books" status keeps them from being guaranteed protections, such as minimum wage, that legal immigrants enjoy. Illegal immigrants don't pay into our tax system, so they're using resources (roads, schools) that they don't help support. Oh, and legal immigrants would have to help our ailing Social Security program by paying a portion of their wages into it, but when so many illegal immigrants replace the legal ones, now that puts Social Security in even more jeopardy--not only are they not paying into it, but many have stolen Social Security numbers, so they could potentially collect benefits that they've never paid for! So we're all losers, are we? The only loser I see here is YOU, for failing to do your homework and try to see the logic behind the opposition to illegal immigration. By the way, anyone who is upset over Isabel Garcia's hate tactics should put their money where their mouth is and make an effort to show up on Tuesday, August 5 at 8:45a.m. before the Pima County Board of Supervisors at 130 West Congress Street. If you want her fired, then you need to show up and put your two cents' worth in. Stand up and be heard! E-mails and blogs alone are NOT going to do it!

Isabelle is an AMAZING woman who has HEART something many people are lacking.
If everyone got OFF being rascists idiot's and gave imagrants the chance to come for a better life it would be easier. Being an imagrant myself from another country ( other then mexico ) i was SICK to see how hard it was for mexicans to have the same thing I wanted so badly.
