My ONLY problem with this article is calling these people "vultures." A vulture performs a necessary task in the wilds, I'm not so sure that with their biases and slants and outright lies that what they do could be called necessary

When someone calls me an a-hole or similar, I always say, "Thank you. At least that has a use."
We should try to call these morons something that has no use.
As for these puss-filled and leaking and pulsating cancerous lymph nodes called journalists, burning them would be fun.

I was reading about the Pulitzer Prize and it's beginnings the other day. Basically, Pulitzer funded it to raise the standards above the "yellow" sensationalism he and Hearst had been practicing. (Smithsonian June 2007)
Seems that the NYT's journalists, and many others, have forgotten this ~ or just don't give a damn.
And you rarely hear how FDR tightened up on the media during WWII.
History is so annoying, so let's just ignore it. Bah!

You may call me a-hole just attach a Mr. to it and I'll thank you for it too.
What truth from our news media? If anybody wants to know where the WMD's are they have merely to look at televised news or the papers.
The propaganda machines some hold so dear in this country are nothing less than Weapons Of Mass Distortion.
