Gravatar Without having to dig it all up and look at the articles, I have to wonder if this is why the DNC pretty much cancled out Florida's vote / delegates? Because it would have helped the candidate they Don't want: hillary? On the other hand, Michigan would have counter-balanced that: barack HUSSEIN obama would certainly get the massive muslim / noi vote.

Gravatar The problem here is that the only thing we get out of Obamarama is "Hope" and "Change".

Everytime he talks about something else he puts his foot in his mouth.

As an American and a Christian, I Stand With Israel.

Gravatar The trouble with younger Jews is that they have not experienced the anti-Semitism their elders did. It was not in law, but an unwritten code that kept most Jews out of the best schools, jobs, etc... These older men and women not only remember it, but look at politicians with the eyes of a community that knows what racism and discrimination is.

Thus they do not see a "kindred spirit" in Obama, but a person who is against them.

This is Obama's own fault, and he will have to work very hard to overcome it.

Gravatar who really want to to wipe Israel, nobody, stop your propaganda, the problem is obvious, the state of Israel is an invention, Arabs and jewish lived together since the beginning of the time and other than what you want represent as the truth to create more controversy, Obama is the man who has more common sense than any of your candidate, why not to sit down with all the contenders , there is one big problem in the middle east, this cousin enemies has to come to an end most of them want to live in peace, a referendum with a clear question to Arabs and jews will give you the right answer, what about one state where we Palestinian and isreali
can live together, this apartheid has to come to an end and all nations around has to accept the facts , nobody will live in peace in this area until every citizen of the middle east come to understand that those who pull the strings of war are outsiders, let people of this nations express their wish of peace, but all of us know that those who created the state of isreal are the people who managed this problem, jews and Arabs comes both from the tree of Abraham, blood cousins if you will, the only big difference is the difference created by those who are looking to their own and selfish interest, using people against each other to mislead, wealth is something invisible to our vision, because the real wealth is to see beyond this earthly power we have, if we come to one justice, a basic human justice, but evil is everywhere and good is shackled by those who push for war to do their dirty business, get rich or die trying, but who is paying all this time innocents for foolish desires of the ring players, i see in obama a good man who is looking for the good of American and I understand his view, and you will be messing if you miss this change, we love America for many reasons, now there is other nation coming up, while America is going down because mostly of political anarchies brought by people who looks for their own ring of power to perpetuate their hegemony, on their people, It is sad, because a big Nation like the USA has the culture to lead the world in many ways other than using it's people as a human shield, who helping Iran to get this weapons of mass distraction, yes mass distraction because like Iraq there is nothing to prove, and why it's not the countries who are helping Iran who should be punished, who has to blamed the father or the child, no all is about profit who profit to the same ring, not American people, not the world population, to complicated, but there is a day where everybody will experience the judgment of the almighty, an damn the evil and this life is all about this just a test!

Gravatar Just how young are you to write such a ridiculous run-on, idiotic rant? Not one word you said makes any kind of sense other than you're palestinian and think everyone's wrong but you--despite what the Bible says and who the land is promised to.

Try again, and try to write as a reasonable adult and not a wild-eyed lunatic.

Gravatar Joseph, since the founding of the modern state of Israel all the Arab countries have tried to wipe out Israel. It is the stated goal of Hezbollah, Hamas and the PLO. It is in their charters and manifestos. And Iran is crying wipe out Israel every other day.

So your argument is false right there.

Iran is the destabilizing agent in the region. They have tried to destroy Iraqi unity (something the Iraqis now have come to realize) and would destroy the rest of the Persian Gulf states if they could. This is not a national idea but a religious one since Iran is Shia and the majority of the Arab world is Sunni. Thus Iran is trying to impose their version of Islam on the rest of the area.

And for the record: There has NEVER been a time in the last 3500 years that there hasn't been a Jewish presence in Israel. NEVER!!!!

Gravatar There is no such thing as a "palestinian" or "palestine".
No books, no printed money, no artifacts, nothing except Arab lies and the thief Arafat proclaiming it a state. Arafat was Egyptian and "palestinians" are nothing more than Arab refugees.

Israeli's ties to the land date back long before the word "palestine" or Islam, the so called religion of peace, was invented.

Gravatar The whole Israel thing is baffling to me. I don't think there is a real answer for "who was there first." It's truly a chicken and egg thing. I've heard equally convincing arguments from both sides.

Here's an idea -- My friend and I have decided that the best thing to do is to move Israel to the Baja peninsula. Don't go off on me -- think about it - it's warm, it's arid, it's surrounded by beautiful seas, and the Mexican Catholics might be friendlier than the Arabs, especially if we let all the displaced Mexicans get a free entry into America. We could call it Bajasrael. Plus, the Jewish settlers of Bajasrael would be closer to their family and friends in the United States. And if we had to protect them (like we do now), it wouldn't require having all sorts of military bases in the middle east since we already have lots of military bases in California, and that doesn't seem to rile the terrorists as much.

Just a thought...

Gravatar The trouble with Baja is that the Drug Lords rule it. There was a proposal in 1900 to give the Jews Uganda/Kenya as a homeland. That would have been interesting to say the least.

Gravatar Katie come over to the hagee thread...

Irishman, what do you mean the chicken or the egg? It's very obvious if you read your Bible--the Jews were there first--the arabs didn't even exist as a people until hagar's son was born and procreated.

Gravatar Well, that's according to the Bible. I hate to point this out, but the Bible isn't necessarily the end all be all of history books. The Bible has lots of contradictions, not to mention the fact that it was written by a bunch of different authors with their own biases and agendas, then edited by a bunch of different editors with their own biases agendas, then translated by a bunch of different translators with their own biases and agendas, then published by a bunch of different publishers with their own biases and agendas.

It does have a lot of instructive myths and stories, and I certainly enjoy lots of them. But I don't believe it all. But you go ahead since it seems to work for you!

Gravatar let's not forget the archeological digs which are proving the "myths" in the Bible to be true over time--something people with different agendas and biases couldn't foresee. Further, as others have pointed out, there is no historical proof of a palestinian people--no artifacts, no monetary system, nothing until arafat stated it. So, irregardless of Biblical word, where is the proof for a palestinian people?

Gravatar Not only archeology Miss Beth, but "contemporary" accounts of those who conquered the land. They all put Jews in the land for 3500 years. Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Muslims, Christians, Turks and British all say the Jews were there before them. That's pretty good evidence in any court of law.

Gravatar Even down to the dome of the rock--a muslim interloper built on top of a Jewish holy site...and one which the muslims refuse to allow a dig on, even to stabilize the site, because they know they have no historical claim and the ground itself would convict them

Gravatar I am the person who posed the questions to Senator Obama in the Boca Raton, B ’nai Torah Synagogue on May 22. Senator Obama asked for hard questions for this Town Hall meeting and I complied when he called on me in a respectful and direct way. However the pep rally delirium of the synagogue crowd was not in a tolerant mood, even as the head Rabbi of the Shul said there would be a respectful conversation to uncover the truth. The booing and hissing by the attendees in this pep rally atomosphere was an unfortunate antidote to any real honest inquiry and the 1/2 answers Sen Obama provided were not direct or honest but an obfuscation of the facts I sought to uncover.

However Sen Wexler had stated (along with the other politicians present ~ BO himself is endorsing this) we (all Jews) should NOT to believe what we may learn on the internet and in the press (excuse me, but I don ’t think he is speaking of the effusive MSM), and not to make any inquiries, or exercise independent thought to even question. He said this is race baiting and bordering on ‘racism’. GARBAGE!!! The last time I looked this was a representative democracy. As Americans don’t we have a right to seek the truth. As Jews we have an obligation to seek the truth before we ‘anoint’ the next President and rush to ‘drink the kool aid’. I did some serious investigation on my own. I was looking for the teaspoon of sugar that would have made the medicine go down. Instead I found syrup of ipacac which is why I am rejecting Senator Obama for President.

The following is a summary of exactly what I asked and offered for purposes of clarity on my comments at the synagogue.

I don ’t care that BO is black, or if he was White, Asian, American Indian, etc.etc. As long as he is the best American candidate for the most important job in the world.

I never thought he was Muslim and I wouldn ’t care if he was Muslim, as long as he showed himself to be who he says he is. Which for me is the heart of the problem as I do just not know.

“Judgement vs. Experience”

To give him a free pass by saying ‘don’t view me through the lens of guilt by association issue’ is disingenous.

I made the point to Sen Obama about his “Judgement vs. Experience” mantra which is legitimate given his questionable associations.

Sen Wexler offered to the wildly receptive crowd during the opening that most all the negative info on the web is right wing nonsense and people should ignore all criticism.

Wexler practically intimated that to criticize is right wing hysteria, fear mongering and borderline racism ~~ which is complete nonsense.

To a limited degree Sen Obama did give an explanation to my request to:

Please explain your personal relationship with Rashid Kahidi (an avowed anti Israel scholar @ Columbia).

In responding, Sen. Obama failed to mention he knew him well enough to be warmly social as he stated in his quote that:

“consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”

Sen Obama also used the maelstrom caused by my comments to IGNORE my initial question where I asked him to explain:

WHY did he meet privately, 1 on 1 on May 14th with Hassan Qazwini who is the leader of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. Hezbollah ’s most important Imam and agent in America.

I wanted to know just what they spoke about for 1 hour that could not be open to the public?

Quazwini's father is one of the major Ayatollahs in Iran. Quazwini (the son) is Hezbollah's #1 agent and Iman living in Dearborn Mich,in the USA since 1992. Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran, whose government are holocaust deniers, held our people for over 400 days, supplying ammunition and IED ’s to kill and maim our service men and women in Iraq I thought this a fair question.

Sen Obama only partially answered the following question:

Aside from elected officials, who can you point to as close personal friends of yours and your wife who are Jewish American(s) and solidly pro Israel, anti terrorist (anti PLO Hamas/Hezbollah) that you can say are close personal friends of you and your wife that have influenced your thinking on the Arab Israeli conflict as many of your associations statements have been characterized as being pro Arab, anti Israel.

NOTE: I NEVER ASKED SEN OBAMA TO COME UP WITH NAMES OF PEOPLE TO ‘VOUCH’ FOR HIM. THOSE WERE HIS WORDS CHOSEN TO DEGRADE THE QUESTION WHEN ALL I REALLY WANTED TO KNOW WAS WHAT PERSONAL ‘JEWISH’ FRIENDS OF HIS HAVE INFLUENCED HIS THINKING ON THE ARAB ISRAELI CONFLICT SINCE SO MANY OF HIS FRIENDS ARE NOT FRIENDS OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND ISRAEL. IS THAT A FAIR QUESTION? ARE YOU SURPRISED IT WAS NOT REPORTED AS SUCH?

Furthermore I did not get to ask:

It ’s seems easy to come to a synagogue in SoFL and profess support for Israel.

To promote clarity and prevent misunderstanding of the kind that occurred in PA/SF from happening again,

Would you be willing to publicly repeat pro Israel speeches made in South Florida echoed in Mosques in Dearborn and Flint, MI?

THE ABOVE IS THE ABSOLUTE FULL TEXT OF MY QUESTIONS. THE MIS-CHARACTERIZATIONS IN THE PRESS, RADIO, ETC. ARE DESIGNED TO INFLUENCE PUBLIC OPINION.

END/MA

Gravatar Michael, thank you for that insight. You are correct, we not only have a right, but an obligation to ask such questions of any candidate, regardless of skin color, and without being painted in the light Wexler and BHO's camp paints the "right". It is precisely BECAUSE of such questions, legitimate questions, they turn to those cards--to obfuscate the true issues.

Thank you for making the attempt in a wholly respectful manner (unlike the mob-mentality of the "kool aid drinkers") and showing precisely how these questions reveal the true, ugly answers.

Gravatar Miss Beth, thanks. MA

Gravatar I am fearful about Obama's expressed willingness to negotiate with Iran, not because I'm sure all diplomacy is a mistake, but because I don't trust Obama to make that decision.

My first take on the Rev. Wright situation was that Obama delayed rejecting Wright until he was sure he had the Farrakhan/black racist/anti-Semite voters in his pocket.

But what if Obama told the truth and he really did not know that his pastor is an extremist? Maybe Obama's "Present" voting and his avowed cluelessness about Wright are symptoms of something as dangerous as dishonesty in a leader: disorganization and/or indecisiveness.

Back in January Obama confessed that disorganization is his most serious flaw. When someone confesses a flaw, my tendency is to mentally rubber stamp it as "HANDLED." They are aware of the problem and working on it. Confessions by public figures are especially disarming because I don't expect them to show their underbellies in the first place and am apt to make extra allowances if they do.
I have several flaws I freely confess, and attempt to correct on a hit and miss basis. Exercise & healthy eating come to mind. I'm better at confessing those flaws than I am doing something about it.
When I mention my lack of zeal for exercise, the obvious assumption is that I'm referring to a few extra pounds. Just as we initially assume Obama's confessed disorganization is modest and similar to our own. What do you think of my attitude toward exercise if I tell you I weigh 500 pounds? (I don't, but play along for a minute.) What if Obama's disorganization is not just the occasional missed appointment or misplaced document? What if his disorganization ranks as chronic?
I've known disorganized business leaders who compensate for their problem with list making, delegating, etc. I've also known brilliant people who never learn to manage their disorder, for whom disorganization negatively impacts every aspect of their lives. Some succeed nicely enough in academic or business environments in which an existing structure imposes the order they cannot create for themselves. Their ailment doesn't become crippling, for themselves and others, until they are in a situation with freedom and authority.
Obama's wife and staffers aren't going to come forward and tell us if he's a dither head; we have only his performance to use as a gauge. Despite an energetic young campaign staff, he was unaware that his spiritual adviser is a nut case. Despite a staff of aides, he didn't have sufficient information to vote definitively on key issues. To me it is important to know WHY he dropped the ball in those situations. Is he bad at delegating? A poor listener? An inept scheduler? Voting on legislation is an important part of the job Illinois voters elected him to do, and he failed to do it on significant issues. What exactly is the nature and scale of Obama's disorganization? What changes does he plan to make to do a better job by the country than he did by Illinois?
No point in asking him. With even mild criticism he becomes as defensive as a child. Reminds me of George Bush when he goes into that tough-little-boy mode. No evidence that this is a man willing to evaluate, learn from his mistakes and alter his behavior. Talk and good intentions are easy, it's getting on the treadmill each and every day that matters.

Makes me tired, and I don't mean the thought of getting on a treadmill. I wonder if we'll ever have another grownup in the White House.

Gravatar The only thing I gather from this article is: Obama is in debt to no one. No christian, jew, or muslim could call in a debt from Mr. Obama...

...that's why he needs to be elected. America, being a super power, needs to look at world issues with a level head to determine the best possible outcome. Right now the US government is pro-israel (pro anything is biased,) and instead of moving forward to a resolution, we circle backwards.

I am jewish and I believe the best outcome for Israel is peace between the Palestinians and ourselves.

Gravatar My friends, do not you forget Poland! Do not you forget a pact between Stalin and Hitler! Check this link out:
http://therealbarackobama.wordpr...-rashid- khalidi

Khalidi babysat Barak Hussein Obama ’s children. Would you let someone whom you do not consider a friend to watch you children?
Aaron Klein, World Net Daily ’s Jerusalem bureau chief, wrote February 24, 2008:
During documented speeches and public events, Khalidi has called Israel an “apartheid system in creation” and a destructive “racist” state.
On February 22, 2008, RW/RBO wrote about a connection between convicted political fixer (and Obama ’s personal real estate fairy), Antoin “Tony” Rezko (left), and Rashid Khalidi

Please go to the link!
And where all this donation money comes from? With the return addresses as “Ga” za?!

Gravatar What are you talking about? Barack Obama is part jewish. Barack/Baruch is a jewish name.

Gravatar Hm, even though I can't stand Obama, why does this matter to voters? Why should the tax payers put money into the Israeli government? Why shouldn't Iran be allowed to have nuclear power by the way? Israel has nuclear weapons already! The US has them, Israel and the US haven't proven themselves responsible enough to have these weapons, yet they seem to get to decide who gets blown up for trying to aquire nuclear power, and possibly nuclear weapons.

Why do we have to protect Israel? They are committing genocide right now! The same thing the Nazi's did to the Jews way back when! Its hypocrisy!

Gravatar One more thing, yes the Jews were living in the holy land for a long time, but who says it was only jews living there? There could have been plenty of different people, not just jews. Actually that wouldn't even make any sense. More than likely many different people from all different backgrounds could have inhabited the little piece of land called Israel.

That wall is shameful. Children are starving, attacks are being launched on un-armed civilians at the most crowded times of day. Children are dying and for what? Property rights?

Gravatar One last thing, I have nothing against Jews by the way, so please no racist accusations. I think Hitler was a scumbag and so is anyone who advocates genocide.

Gravatar Free Thinker, leave and don't come back. You are obviously incapable of understanding anything relating to middle eastern politics, and frankly, we do not sanction the falestinian greed and bullshit here. The falestinians are the ones causing the death and destruction and Israel is our ally. You don't like it, tough.

Any future attempts to comment here will be erased--at least all those I catch. Not in the mood for any more of your sheeple idiocy--free thinker my ass! Just another idiot mouthing the current "in thinking" of the lunatic fringe thinking you sound intelligent. You don't.

Bye now.

Gravatar Not threaten--do. You will be banned instead of just deleted if you keep up your shit. And your pathetic attempt to hide behind another nic doesn't work when I have access to IP numbers. "Course, you are truly pathetic anyway.
