Gravatar I think it is worth considering that there are major qualms about the quality of ARG as a pollster this cycle. They have had sudden fluctuations in the past, demonstrably in Wisconsin. Prior to a few "big states," ARG was pretty much batting zero. They would have fared poorly in California, too, if it weren't for early voting (which favored Obama).

Quinnipiac University is expected to release a poll tomorrow showing little movement.

It's also worth noting that Zogby said in an interview that few respondents remarked about the comment being important in their decision. Both the Zogby guy and the Quinnipiac guy said that the comments mostly only galvanized support against Obama among those who already do not like him.

Gravatar I really love how Obama mocked Hillary's visit to an Indiana bar as pandering to the working class, but failed to recall his visit to a place here in PA, "Sharkey's" where he had a beer and photo op and let us and BO not forget his bowling moment also.

Gravatar Yet Rasmussen has an excellent reputation and the figures back the ARG numbers. You might not like the data, thats tough. Obama has no chance in Pennsylvania now and to top it off, this is a good guide to how well Kentucky and other "middle America" states are going to treat him.

He screwed up bigtime and by denying it instead of just accepting the fact of it, you are showing that you cannot look at his comments as those in polls have.

Gravatar I don't understand why Obama has not apologized for his demeaning comments. It's a sign of his character and arrogance, looking down at us, working folks, because we do not have a Harvard education. For him we are just typical white trash.

Gravatar I just hope people remember his elitist remarks all the way to November.

Gravatar Not only will people remember but it is the job of the GOP to keep it firmly in peoples heads as well as every other lie, misstatement and association he has.

Gravatar Pete, he apologized IF people were offended. The problem is he IS condescending and doesn't see anything wrong with what he said. He is more pissed that someone caught it on audio.

Gravatar Either way, the Dems are toast in November. McCain is gaining more in the polls every day as more Americans discover Obama is at best a hollow man and at worst a true threat to America, and Clinton is showing all the marks of the truly political creature she is.

Either way McCain wins in a landslide. McCain's economic plan revealed today will end the Democrats for good: repealing the federal gas tax over the summer, doubling the exemption tax credit, and most importantly vetoing any bill with earmarks in it. That alone will get him the vote if he follows through, and if Iraq keeps improving, he's got the election in the bag.
