Everything from Jack Murtha, a named unindicted co-conspirator in the ABSCAM bribe scandal to William "Cold Cash" Jefferson caught red handed with $90k of bribes in his freezer.
We know more about every sleazy email sent by EX Congressman Mark Foley than we do about the behind the scenes efforts by Pelosi/Lantos and company to usurp the Constitutional authority of a twice elected President.
Newt Gingrich was on the Rush Limbaugh show this afternoon with guest host Paul W. Smith describing how he used the Logan Act to chasten Democrats sucking up to Soviet puppet Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua in the 1990's.
The sad part of Newt's example is that NONE of these Democrats were ever charged, nor seriously threatened with a full investigation in their role undermining U.S. foreign policy.
I wish I could be more positive, but I think we see history repeating itself.
Democrats will exempt themselves from the same standards of conduct and accountability they demand of others.
Which is why this needs to be pounded and pounded on until someone actually attempts to do something about it.

When a law hasn't been used for over 200 years there's usually a pretty good reason.
A trial would give her exactly the kind of publicity she wants, and she wouldn't be convicted (IMO).
Greg the law was UPDATED in 1994.... so the question is, why bother to keep it, block its repeal and update it...if NOT to use it in cases like this?
She may very well be convicted if prosecuted right.
