When I saw the Hollywood nit wits over the weekend, my first thought was: They could be Islamic terrorists. Just change the hats for veils and turbans. Shouting "death to America", spitting on our soldiers, giving them the finger, acting like raving savages. No difference.

Agreed and in answer to your question, I do not think their is much of an ideological difference between the two, or so it seems in hearing their talking points.
After all, Liberals would rather defend a terrorists "rights" than avenge 3000 lives from 9/11.
