I'm with you on this one, spree. I see the following three things happening:
1) The real race within the Democrats is who Hillary's VP will be. Not that it matters, because...
2) Hillary can't win a general election for President. She has too much baggage, and she'll face a motivated and united GOP get out the vote machine, which means...
3) The Democrat base will be completely unmotivated to vote for her or for Democrats at all for that matter, meaning major GOP gains in Congress and a victory in the White House.
Without Bush to pick on and with the war in Iraq improving daily, Hillary won't have anything to run on. The real race is the GOP primary.

I don't believe any of these craps about clinton. What I do believe is that her critics are trying to destroy her, and they are jealouse of her being the first female to go that far in the Presidetial compaign.

Snooper: Too much time between now and primaries and general elections...Hillary has the track record of withstanding great heat over time and emerging cool. GOP and other Democratic runners have too much time to "goof up"...many will melt in the heat mostly by their own doings of which we have no vision yet.

Her unfavorable numbers are almost equal to her approval numbers, among her own ilk.
