Gravatar Hillary will not give up.

Her goal is to force the supers to make a choice: Hillary or Obama. The coming disaster won't be her fault, of course. It will be the DNC's fault.

Hillary is fanatically laboring under a truth and two lies. She believes 100% in all three, and like most fanatics, cannot tell truth from falsehood. The truth is that Barack Obama will *never* be President. This is a certainty. If he is the nominee, he will lose.

Hillary knows this. Every single voting American knows this, deep down. They won't blame themselves, but the other 120 million or so of us. America may actually be ready for a black President, but not Obama. The first is always held to the highest standard, and Obama is merely a deeply flawed politician. When he has to be Jackie Robinson or Hank Aaron, he is only a bench-warmer at best.

The only difference is who is willing to admit that Obama has no chance in November. Hillary admits this, which is why she is in the race. Her problem is the two lies she tells herself: "I can win in 2008" and "I can win in 2012". Neither one is true.

The moonbat wing of the party will never forgive Hillary now. Millions of Dems will stay home if she is the nominee, to punish both Hillary and the Dems. Likewise, should Obama still get the nod, millions will jump to McCain.

But a funny thing will happen on the way to 2012: we'll win in Iraq, we'll put Iran on the ropes, we'll turn the economy around and we'll regain America's standing in the world. And in 2012, the Democrat will be an endangered species indeed.

Gravatar Why is it that Florida is always screwing things up?

I wish Floridians could get their act together for a change !

Gravatar IF BHO were in her position he would ... if it were two men say two white or black men they would not be asking them to quit ; they would expect a fight to the finish
hey he is a "rules" person ( that is how he bullied his way to an unopposed first run as Illinois state senator and crushed a black woman on the way ) let's go there .... what he is afraid of is that he will lose ... and he will I say lets go ALL THE WAY

Gravatar The DNC Stripped FL of 100% of pledged and un-pledged delegates after our REPUBLICAN colleagues moved the Primary date up too soon. It's wrong to punish us for that which we could not control. If we don't get 100% seating with full votes, the DNC better pay for a revote.
That or I, for one, will urge all Dems I know to MAKE their voice heard, with either low turnout or a vote for McCain. How do you like dem apples?

Gravatar That sounds just fine to us conservatives here--y'all keep forgetting you're posting on a conservative site. Take up your problems with the DNC and leave the RNC up to the Republicans--y'all are like kids with the finger pointing and the lack of holding your "leaders" accountable. The RNC hears PLENTY from us and we hold our leaders' feet to the fire--y'all don't. So, yeah, your plan of action sounds just fine.

Gravatar Doing the math from today, it's clear the DNC has sided with Obama. It's equally clear Hillary's reaction will now be a scorched earth campaign that splits the party and will make McCain's victory over Obama not just a beating but a landslide.

After both Hillary's machine and the GOP get finished with Obama, he'll be lucky to get 35% of the popular vote and 150 electoral ones.

Gravatar Can anybody explain to me the rationale of giving delegates to Obama in Michigan where nobody actually voted FOR him?
AND...why did Florida's vote require a 2/3 majority, but Michigan only require a majority?
Thanks.

Gravatar The thing is that in 2006 Howard Dean and the upper echelons of the Donkeycrats decided that Obama would be their nominee regardless of what the voters wanted. That is why the MSM shouted his name out every day, that is why Florida and Michigan HAD to give votes to him.
