I really didn't see this coming! I mean, the hair and all. 
But, on the other hand, selling a Senate seat to me makes more sense than the Stick-it-to-us plan. Capitalism! Talk about a way to take heat off of Washington.
Or is Blago about to be a sacrificial lamb? Or a Parrot, about to sing?
Better and better as it goes down the proverbial toilet of politics!

Blagojevich claims he did nothing wrong. If a person attempts to murder someone, but didn't actually murder them, does that mean they didn't commit a crime? Just because Blagojevich was never able to follow through with selling Obama's senate seat does not mean that he didn't conspire to sell it and, in the process, commit a crime. His claim that he did nothing unlawful is somewhat empty-headed and naive. I think the assessments about the former governor's sanity were correct. He seems to be very delusional.
