I have often wondered if the radical violent Jihadists are violent men who use the religion as an exxcuse to act out their violent tendencies or if they really believe the violence is the will of God.

Ron, I think it is a case where using religion is the only justification they can give themselves.

To me that is still hiding behind religion, especially when millions peacefully practice that same religion.

Thanks Debra. I know that many peace loving Muslims will find it offensive, but if we refuse to show clearly what the extremists are about because we are scared to offend someone else...then the extremists already win.

If it's made clear that it's the extremists that we are against...and not the peace-loving kind...then I wouldn't think there would be too much upset. Then again, ya never know when it comes to things like this.

I doubt Wilders' film is going to separate the two...but, just as the movies about the bible offended Christians, they said their piece and they were done with it.... this must be shown the same tolerance but instead, the extremists and killing people, encouraging the beheading of anyone that shows the film?

No no no no.

THAT is what needs to be shown. The intolerance. The violence.

The bullies need to be shown that their tactics will not work.
