Col. Jeffrey Chessani hasn't even started yet with the libel suit. Since the Judge made that comment about not letting politicians says things to further their careers, I am betting Murtha does not have a sympathetic ear on this one.

He shouldn't get a "break". he spoke out of his ass for political gain. I hope he burns for it. He deserves everything the Marines can throw at him.

At a minimum, he needs to be impeached. As a public servant, he single-handedly violated fellow Marines' civil rights and THAT is a major woopsie.

What a great way to start the day - hearing Murtha is going to have to explain his treasonous actions before a court of law. That won't erase the damage done, but it will go a long way in letting other hysterical representatives that they are not immune from prosecution for libel!
