Gravatar Spree, I did not make the rally today. Tay is sick. Since 2 am (why do kids ALWAYS throw up at 2 am)

She's sleeping next to me. I'll write later.

Gravatar awwww, I hope she feels better soon. Sorry about the rally, I know how much you were looking forward to it.

CHICKEN SOUP.

Gravatar Now THIS would be impressive if it tests well!

Michelle, I agree with Spree--CHICKEN SOUP!

Gravatar Spree, from my Jewish friend, I wouldn't expect anything less. Chicken Soup indeed.

I made that in the crock pot for later, right now it is dry toast with a light cream cheese schmear and a little bit of strawberry jam.

Thanks for both of you being so sweet. She feels better now, but I am sure she will be down for most of the weekend. She plays so hard........nothing keeps her down for long!

Gravatar I got such a beautiful Christmas tree!! LOL

I love Christmas, I was even the only little Jewish girl in the Christmas plays at school.

What a beautiful time of the year it is.

With you nursing her back to health, she won't be down long at all, you are right.

Gravatar I honestly don't like this. I've seen it coming through the years, as others like myself who follow technology, and I don't like it. A machine doesn't have the intellect and heart of a soldier, it lacks the compassion and the ability to make rational decisions.

Robots have their place, but the battlefield is not that place. There has to be a consequence to combat, or it becomes all to easy to engage in without regard for the human aspects.

Gravatar I agree the human component is something that can never be replaced--how many sci-fi movies and series' episodes have addressed this very issue (from our beloved Star Trek to Twilight Zone, Universal Soldier to Terminator). I think it's awesome in the realm of loss of life, but a robot can't tell the difference between a rabbit, a child crossing the road and an armed enemy--and that human capacity is very much needed.

Spree, years ago when I worked at the Court there was a woman who was a very devout born again Christian who also celebrated Hanukkah--and she confused me so I asked her why. Her answer was priceless and I loved it--"Jesus celebrated Hanukkah"--short, sweet, simple--and true. He was, after all, Jewish Himself! Just because He became the "founder" of Christianity doesn't mean He gave up His very real Christian roots!

Gravatar Oops--sorry, His very real JEWISH roots!

Cylon hunting, anyone?

Gravatar Brat!
