You know, I wasn't a fan of John McCain at the beginning of the debate cycle and still have some issues with him, but commericals like this really make me grateful to be a Republican rather than a Democrat. I am proud to vote for a man who believes so deeply in his principles that he'd elect to stay IN captivity at the risk of his life every day for 7 years rather than use his powerful connections (his dad was an admiral in the Navy and the Vietnamese offered to let him go as a result: McCain refused).
That's how Clinton does it, though. Her connections are primary.
Obama can't make it through a speech without insulting either our country or our intelligence.
McCain is the guy and I'm proud to be voting for him.

Isn't that the truth. Kerry and Gore were bloodless eggheads, but Obama manages to combine Kerry's disdain for the middle class along with Gore's disdain for the less educated, all while playing the racial guilt card whenever humanly possible.
I still have several issues with McCain, but he gets my vote over Clinton and especially the vile con artist Obama. Nothing turns off white, blue collar voters quite like a wealthy minority Democrat being a condescending hypocrite.
The Democrats just don't understand that Hillary and Obama are fatally flawed and fatally wounded. There's no place for identity politics anymore in America, and that's all these two have to offer is the same old "You should vote for me out of guilt!" garbage the Dems have been pushing since the 60's.
After McCain wins in a landslide and pulls in dozens of additional GOP congressional seats on his coattails, the Dems are going to be wondering how they lost. The coalition they have will split and the GOP will run this country for decades.
With McCain at the helm, we can get back to winning the war.

Amy, I also have a few problems with a couple of McCain's issues but I have always said and still do, that he doesn't pander, he stands on principle, and yet if he hears the public cry out hard enough, he is willing to adjust his actions...example, the immigration reform. He was for it, with noble reasons, but he understood why we all spoke up against it and said he would work to enforce the laws and secure the border before mentioning reform again.
So, he has principles and he listens.

Oh I like to have Obama speak often and continue to attack Mc Cain.. Really, so far he has LIED about Mac Comments on a prolonged stay in Iraq...on him being like a Third Term for W when in terms of record from 1983 ( against Reagan's Lebanon deployment of US Marines), on 2003 ( against How we were conducting Military and Reconstruction operations in Iraq) and again last Wednesday when de outlined a very Definite change of approach to International politics...
