Katie, yes they are just kids--but kids who KNEW what they wanted to do with their lives. Look into their eyes and see the determination and maturity in them--their bodies and faces didn't show that, but the eyes....

My heart goes out to their families...for the mingled heartwrenching duty of burying these young heroes--and the pride they must also be feeling in their children.
