So France is a new one-man Army. Presto, it's the new Tony Blair. That appears to be a stretch.
One man army? You spend wayyyyyy too much time on liberal blogs. What France is now is a country that realized their liberal socialistic country was going downhill, got wise and voted in a conservative to fix the mess Chirac had made.

Chirac made a HUGE mess of France, and it led to our ostracizing them for it as a nation. It's nice to see some intelligence out of one of our European allies again.

Seems to me that Bush has done a nice job in forging alliances with European leaders. He has a good relationship with Gordon Brown, Angela Merkel and now Nicolas Sarkozy.
He's turning out to be quite the diplomat, although you won't read it in the New York Times or hear it on NBC.
And lets not forget how he has gotten Libya and North Korea to disarm it's nukes without having to fire a single shot.
